Exceptional in every way. I was prepared for what was going to happen. While serious surgery is never a walk in the park, I had the opportunity to ask many questions about what was to happen to my body and felt assured that I was with the most competent practitioner. Three ad one half weeks out and I'm healing well.

I'm a nurse and my 74 year old grandmother had an aortic dissection and survived only because this doctor is a miracle worker and in my opinion one of the best thoracic surgeons I've ever met .. he won't operate if the risk outweighs the benefit so he'd prefer you live with pain rather than not live. I can see the previous commenter here clearly has no medical knowledge. It's responsible of him to only operate when it would in fact save your life, pain is manageable, death is not. ?? He's smart

I was very disappointed when I went to my appointment. I went with severe pain in both legs when I walk above 150 feet and I was told that even though I have blockage in both legs I would have to deal with it. The reason I was given was the blockages aren't bad enough to do anything about. They are bad enough to stop me from exercising I can't walk, I can't ride my bike well I can for 150 feet at a time and the pain is unbearable.
