Caution: chovanistic and degrading
Dr Tallman was unwilling to escalate my care to a specialist and made me feel like speaking up or questioning his plan was inappropriate. His lack of compassion or concern to my wound he had been “managing” without resolution was apparent. When I advocated for myself asking for options and more understanding of rationales, he responded by becoming passive-aggressive with ego based verbal digs at me in an obvious attempt to refuel his control of the interaction. Proving himself as being in control meant more to him than the outcome of my care. As a female, I would never recommend visiting this doctor. Mon General can do better and should do better than this.

REFUSED TO DOCUMENT INFECTION
First I will say ive been in healthcare for 24 years and I know my stuff well. I am also a doctor (something I never tell the surgeons working on me) This is another surgeon trying to keep his record squeaky clean by refusing to document or send out cultures when there was a clear inflection. My infection was so bad I had to go the ER. I had a temp over 100, redness, hot skin around the area., drainage and pus from the wound. When I came back to Dr Tallman, he aspirated the 80cc of fluid under the wound and documented it as serosanguineous fluid then poured it down the sink. I saw the fluid and saw the purulent material (pus) . It 100 percent should have been cultured but this doc wants to keep his record clean so he falsified my medical records and put his own interests above actually caring for a patient. This is the sickening world of healthcare.

Rude! Even with my husband there.
I will NEVER go to this doctor again. In fact, I was ready to walk out of the appointment when he wouldn't answer questions and told me "Nice try" when I said I had diabetes (I was concerned about not eating for a day) Then he held his hand on the door to keep me from leaving. I felt trapped and had a panic attack. He came highly recommended, but very dismissive, unfriendly, rude and should not have prevented me from opening the door if I wanted.

Feeling much better!!
Dr. Tallman was great. I saw him and he told me what was going on from the symptoms. He didn't make me go through a bunch of testing and try a bunch of other things that he knew wouldn't work. He realized the pain and my quality of life was suffering and got in me in for surgery quickly and everything he fixed is great now!!!!! Very nice fella and will answer all your questions!!

Dr. Tallman is a great doctor with great skills. He helped me with a condition that was causing a great deal of pain for many years when no one else could. My quality of life was horrible. When I met him I was watching death coming for me. I had no idea that my colon nearly ruptured. The pain was excruciating. After my stay in the hospital and Dr Tallman treating me I am once again feeling alive. Thank you so much Dr. Tallman. I would urge anyone whose having intestinal problems to make an appointment. I had IBS, Colitis, severe constipation, diarrhea, stomach cramps and pain. Dr. Tallman treated it all.

De. Tallman has an very good reputation. He is compassionate with his patients and an excellent surgeon. I trust him completely and have refered several people to him. When the nurses in the hospital tell you he is one of the best that’s the highest and most accurate recommendation a doctor can get. After all they work along side him so they should know.

Dr. Tallman is a excellent surgeon. Took the time to answer my questions and explained things very clearly. I was most impressed with his office. The staff are among the most courteous I have ever met and wait times were at a absolute minimum. I feel you can tell a lot about a person by the type of staff that want to work for them. A+ in my book.

Dr, Tallman is severely deficient in personal interaction and customer service skills. In my experience with him, Dr. Tallman displayed a callous, arrogant attitude and acted like his patients were not worth his time.

Dr. Tallman is a excellent surgeon. I've had to see him twice now for 2 different procedures. He really cares about his patients. He explains everything thoroughly, and takes time with his patients. I have felt very comfortable every time I've had to see him. I don't just think of him as my doctor, I consider him my friend. If I ever need to have surgery in the future, I will definitely go back to Dr. Tallman.
