Dr. O was very informative, kind and compassionate with my mother. He took all the time we needed in explaining what took place and what to expect. An aside, the nursing staff at McLaren, Flint on the 4th floor (Especially So) were excellent.

My husband had a thyroidectomy last week and is recovering well. His incision is healing wonderfully, his voice is pretty much back, and he's feeling pretty good! Dr. Oysaiji made sure he felt very comfortable before the surgery and met with me (the wife) beforehand to make sure I didn't have any remaining questions. My husband's surgery lasted just over the time they had planned for but I received several updates while he was in the operating room.

I had to have a thyroidectomy because of a goiter and he made it seem like this surgery was no big deal, it's in and out, go back to work after a week or 2 and that everything would still be normal. Wrong!! After I came out of surgery I couldn't talk, it was a whisper. He was very rude making it seem like I wasn't talking on purpose. So I arranged with my primary doctor to see an ENT. He wanted to wait and see if my voice would come back but I went and found out that he PARALYZED my vocal chords
