Dr. Toya Ellis, MD

Dr. Toya Ellis is truly the best Doctor and Surgeon I've ever worked with. She was always on time for my appointments, she listened throughly and intently to all of my symptoms, she was patient when I had numerous questions, she never made me feel rushed through appointments, she took the time to explain my options, and she performed and amazing surgery that was invasive and complicated endo that had spread everywhere. I recovered so well after surgery and was up walking the same evening. I highly recommend her to any other endo patients. She really has given me my health and happiness back and I'm so thankful to have had her as my surgeon. I need another surgery for a fibroid and I plan on having her perform that procedure as well since she is so amazing!

Dr. Ellis is the absolute best physician and surgeon I have ever seen. I struggled for decades with abdominal and pelvic pain and was never diagnosed properly. Dr. Ellis and several Kaiser OB/GYN’s finally discovered what was wrong with me. I underwent a hysterectomy with Dr. Ellis and have lived pain free now for a year. I am incredibly grateful to her and the staff at Kaiser.

Dr Ellis is one of the most compassionate and caring doctors I know. She is an excellent doctor and found a new treatment for me that gave me my life back. I suffered with chronic pelvic pain for years and I live pain free for the most part now. I truly can’t say enough good about her.

Dr. Ellis is a super specialist. I had suffered from endometriosis most of my life and had a hysterectomy prior to seeing her. I was still having so much pain and thought I had post hysterectomy endo. After years of being told I was crazy Dr. Ellis listened to me and figured out what going on. I had to have another surgery because of scar tissue, I won't go into the details but it was bad. Also I suffer from pelvic floor dysfunction. Thanks to Dr. Ellis I am getting better! I highly, highly recommend her.

Dr Ellis is the first one who took me seriously and it was everything you’d want from a doctor. Her surgery left me pain free for several years, she changed my life by allowing me to be pain free. I would never hesitate to do any treatment she endorses.

I am a man. Dr. Ellis has helped me with chronic pelvic and back pain due to osteoporosis, fractured lumber vertebrae, prostate, bladder and irritable bowel issues. She is empathetic, skilled, thoughtful and accessible. She listens well, and has gone above and beyond to make sure I am getting better. I have seen improvements, and find my issues, while chronic, are more manageable due to her help. She treats me as a person, not a number. I give her 5 stars out of five.

I have suffered from Endometriosis since I was in my early 20's, which was often misdiagnosed or brushed off by other Doctors not knowing how to help me. Dr. Ellis was amazing! She laid out my options, was very upfront and gave a terrific explanation of the hysterectomy process from start to finish - once I finally decide to go that route. Because of her amazing care I have a new pain free lease on life. I am so grateful to her and I recommend her to any women suffering from pelvic pain.

I suffered with endometriosis for at least 7-10 years. After years of painful treatments and opioids that seemed to not help at all, I decided to have a hysterectomy. Dr Ellis is absolutely amazing! She has changed my life for the best in so many ways. I have a normal life now and I'm the happiest I've been since my teens. I highly recommend Dr. Ellis for chronic pelvic pain!!! She is very sweet and really connects with her patients. Her staff is friendly as well.

She misdiagnosed me with a medical condition I didn't have at all and put me through several years of COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY medical treatment. The treatment left me disabled and I've been struggling for years, stuck with the damage she caused. Finally brave enough to speak up. This woman is incompetent and dangerous, but she is so simperingly sweet that you won't know she's an idiot until it's too late and she's ruined your health. She also lies in medical records. Stay away.
