Dr. Travis Maak, MD

Waited an hour, didn’t listen to our questions nor explain things well. He never even bothered to look at the MRI I had sent to him for the same injury nor the notes I sent over from the previous Orthopedic Doc. Seemed sales like and eager to do surgery. I’ve worked in the healthcare field and have been on both sides of the fence. Never had I been talked down to the way he did us. Hard NO! Going with our recommendations.

My experience was horrible. My daughter was seeing him for her femur. We waited 2 hours just to see him. He came storming in the room with two other people. He didn’t take the time to introduce himself, then he just started swearing, because he couldn’t get his computer to work. He did absolutely nothing for my daughter. He recommended that we see another one of his colleagues. I was very disappointed. He has a horrible bedside manner.

Hands down, I wouldn't go to anyone else. I had a torn ACL of which Dr. Maak repaired. He was professional, informative and took the time to make sure I felt comfortable with my decision. I had a successful surgery and recovery of which I credit largely to Dr. Maak. I have since referred multiple people to see him. He is simply the best there is!!

Dr. Maak is the man that helped positively change my life! When I first was told I had FAI & would benefit from surgery, I was very apprensive! He always was more than happy to take the time to explain in detail anything that I asked about, he even showed me videos. I am now 6 months post-op. It has required determination & work to exrecise daily, but I am in better shape now, at age 35, than I ever have been! Ten years this ailed me, Dr. Maak not only helped me physically, but mentally too!
