My hip had totally collapsed. He put me back together. I can now walk normally. I would highly recommend him. He is very truthful and let me know what I could expect. My surgery wasn’t an easy one it took 4 screws to put my hip together. I’m thankful for Dr Owen.

Doctor Owen performed a total hip replacement on me in 2018, which was 6 years after my hip socket was surgically repaired because the cartilage in the joint had deteriorated prematurely due to the extent of the socket injury. What he did was a life changer for me after 6 years of discomfort . Before he operated I did all the exercises and took all the supplements that the book from joint class said to. My recovery, lack of pain, and physical life in general have gone very well since Dr. Owen replaced my hip. FWIW I am 74 years old now and cycle 2,000 miles a year and have not been to a doctor for any reason at all for 4 years.

I did nit have a good experience with Dr Owen or his PA. He did not seem to listen to my complaints and did nothing to help me with my problem so I suffered another 2 years until I insisted on going to a different specialist in the same group. I do not recommend Dr. Owen.

After my accident, I was under Dr. Owen's care for a little over a year. The hospital staff praised him. We figured out quickly that he is great at what he does. He explains clearly, answers all your questions, and makes you feel at ease. He is the best along with the rest of his practice. I had a pelvic external fixator for three months. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

I would never refer anyone to Dr. Owens . His bedside manner is extremely poor and he is dismissive of the patient’s needs. My grandmother drove 2 1/2 hours to see him and he told her he could do nothing for her broken in two humorous bone! All he suggested was to come back in 2 weeks to see how it was healing. I’ve never been more disgusted with a doctor in my life. I will definitely never go back to him nor refer him even to my worst enemy!

As a rare disease patient, Dr. Owen is the only orthopedic surgeon I trust in the area. He knew about my rare disease before meeting me which may be even rarer than my disease. He tells it like it is and doesn't put you through unnecessary treatments if he doesn't have to. I would recommend him to any and everybody who has orthopedic problems. He has an answer to every question and can admit when he needs to consult other specialists to give the best quality of care.
