Thank you
My husband had his first colonoscopy with Dr. Pearson. He was scared; I was scared. Dr. Pearson was very reassuring, confident, knowledgeable, and kind. Everything went well and my husband reports back that it ended up being "no big deal." We really appreciate good Doctors and so happy we found Dr. Pearson.

Lack of Continuity in Care
Pearson is great; however, his nurse is rude, abrupt, argumentative & interrupts you. If you have issues and need to see Pearson, but he isn't available (in this case for 2 months) & you are forced to see one of his partners due to his unavailability, that dr. is now your new GI dr. & Pearson will no longer follow your case. To me after 11 years of seeing him, this is unacceptable and hurtful in that it makes you feel insecure & uncared for. Continuity in healthcare is important & the right of every patient. I've never been to a clinic that has such an uncaring/unreasonable policy. I want to be Pearson's patient, but I can't accept this policy. He said he didn't need to see me but every 5 yrs. unless I am having issues. I told him my pharmacy said his nurse said I needed to be seen to get a refill on prescriptions and he said, no I'll see you in five years & if that happens again you tell me & I'll get it filled. Nurse called today-Pearson will fill one more time then need appt.

I already have told family and friends, Dr Pearson is a wonderful doctor. With my first colonoscopy a different doctor was unable to complete my colonoscopy. I woke up several times in pain. Dr Pearson took the time and was able to finish my colonoscopy. I never felt anything. I highly recommend Dr Pearson!

I’ve seen Dr.Pearson for nearly 10 years. After so many misdiagnoses he was the only doctor who never gave up and believed me. He figured out my disease and has partnered with another specialist to form a treatment plan that works for me. He is fairly easy to get ahold of and avoids extra appointments that are unnecessary and costly. Overall he is very patient, kind, and knowledgeable in his field. Go Jays!

Dr. Pearson and the staff at MGI have been great, making sure I stay up-to-date with monitoring and treatment of my hemochromatosis. The office sends me reminder letters when I am due for lab work, and based on the lab results Dr. Pearson determines whether I need a treatment (phlebotomy) and when my next labs should be checked. Dr. Pearson also monitors my celiac disease and other GI issues I've had. He is friendly and thorough. I'd happily recommend him to others.

I just had my first colonoscopy screening last week. Dr. Pearson performed my procedure. Everything went well with no issues. Dr Pearson is highly rated in his field and I felt comfortable with him performing the procedure. He does a lot of colonoscopies from what I can gather. He was very professional and seemed knowedgable. Also, all the nurses were great and very friendly. Overall, if you have to have a colonoscopy, I would recommend this facility and Dr. Pearson.

I had a condition that had been undiagnosed/misidagnosed by a dozen or so Doctors over the course of 15 years. Dr. Pearson diagnosed it and got it under control within 2 appointments. Amazing!
