Simply Amazing!
I received worrisome news regarding my thyroid and I couldn't get an appointment with the specialist, in my area, for months. Dr. Moo-Young took me as a new patient within days of me calling for an appointment. She did a bedside ultrasound of my thyroid and I had the biopsy done right then and there. She took the time to explain everything, she wasn't rushing, and I felt heard and validated. I can't say enough about her staff as well, and her nurse Stephanie is absolutely wonderful. I am so happy I found this office and I will be driving the 3 hrs (round trip) to continue my care with Dr. Moo-Young and Stephanie.

Treated Very Bad
DONOT GO SEE THIS DOCTORI normally don’t complain about a Doctor but, I must mention how horrible I was treated. I was recommended to see Dr. Moo Young ( Surgeon) because my PTH level was extremely high, my calcium was very high and my blood was abnormal and I am very sick. My doctor said I probably have “Hyperparathyroidism”. This has been going on for over 5 yrs.I waited on Dr. Moo Young for 20 minutes in the room, that didn’t really bother me. When she finally came to see me, she informed me that she need to “get to know me first”. She spent 20 minutes “DRAWING” a diagram and teaching me about Hyperparathyroidism, how it affects the body, (MIND YOU MY DOCTOR SAID I MIGHT HAVE HYPERPARATHYROIDISM) She also told me she was a teacher. I ask her multiple times, are we going to do blood test, (MIND YOU THIS IS A SURGEON), X-rays, she just went back to “TEACHING” me about the condition, I was so upset, I walked out. She never charged my Insurance company.

I received a full thyroidectomy from Dr. Moo-Young 8 years ago. She did a really great job. The scar was barely visible even a year later. All has been going well since. Really great experience with her during a scary time.

As a result of annual testing, a parathyroid problem was discovered at the outset of the pandemic. Dr Moo-Young was recommended. She and I “met,” over an app called Scribble. She spent a long time explaining the problem and the surgery. She was MARVELOUS. The surgery occurred on July 15, 2020. She did a fabulous job! The scar is tiny. She was great post-op too! I just can’t praise her enough. If I need surgery again for any reason, Dr Moo-Young is MY surgeon!

I was told to see Dr. Moo-Young by a man while riding on the CTA transit. I overheard him talking to someone about his symptoms and diagnosis. I had the same parathyroid problem and we spoke a little and he told me to go to Dr. Moo-Young. He said "She is the BEST." I went to her. I was struck with her kind, personal and exact, detailed information about my disease. She told me how it could be treated. Her personality exudes assurance, confidence and genuine concern for the patient. I did the surgery and it went perfectly. I was a little worried as the first blood tests showed low, but the following blood tests are normal. If you have parathyroid disease, you need to be treated by Dr. Tricia Moo-Young. She is an excellent doctor and her staff all gave positive reports as they love her as well. She is a 10 out of 10. Thank you Dr. Moo-Young

I like her! Dr Young is extremely knowledgeable and doesn't beat around the bush at the same time she keeps a very caring attitude. After having dealt with a thyroid nodule for years with doctors who had a wait and see not giving a hoot about me attitude, she drew me a diagram of everything going on also letting me know the urgency of my situation. Thank you Dr Young for being a doctor who seems to care!
