Dr. Troy Bracker, MD

I've been his patient for a few years. He is not there to solve problems. He does the basics but has not really addressed health concerns I've had. He runs labs and that's about it. If the results are 'normal', even if it's the lowest value of a range, he doesn't go any further. I've become a pretty strong medical advocate for myself but still end up leaving with no information or next steps to address my concerns. At times he answers questions and discusses issues for a bit if it only takes a couple minutes. Most times I have to keep probing to get some worthwhile answer or next step, and he often concludes the appointment without addressing my question (he's even walked out while I was still asking questions!). A couple times I was able to get a referral for a specialist but only after I pushed and advocated.If I had something straightforward like strep or an ear infection, he would be fine but I'm currently looking for a new provider.

Dr. Bracker does a great job keeping up on current research and is very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a family physician!

AVOID THIS PHYSICIAN, awful experiences over the past several years. Improper treatments that I have now realized were incorrect. He would get upset at any questions I asked and refused to answer them. I have never met a worse doctor. Rude and incompetent. I would not trust him caring for anyone. He needs to retire if he hates his job that much and cannot do it well.

This is your warning.. Do Not Go To This Dr!!! This was by far the worst experience at a doctor office ive had in my life. Dr Bracker refused to give proper treatment to my daughter. He clearly knows what the issues are but will not prescribe what is needed. We only seen him bc our regular doctor was not available.. He us the worst ever! He was also extremely rude and argued with me for 15 minutes. He also refused to give any advice for symptoms as he was angry he was being questioned.

Dr. Bracker has been my primary health care provider for the past few years. I've found his medical knowledge and patient care to be among the best I've experienced in the region. I would highly recommend him.

I was concerned about a possible sinus infection, Dr. Bracker came in asked about my symptoms, looked at my throat and decided to prescribe antibiotics, he was half way out the door as I was still asking questions. He was not warm or kind. I will not see him again.
