Fantastic neurologist
Dr. Desai is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. He cares about the patient’s quality of life and understands the appropriate methods of care that are warranted. He makes sure to listen to patient concerns. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Desai and would try to continue to see him even if I moved.

Dr. Desai spends his time with you as a patient. When asking you questions, he completely listens, and asks more in depth questions to make sure he understands and that there are no mistakes. I'm pleasantly surprised and very thankful to have found him as my new neurologist. I had nothing but an excellent appointment with him, and absolutely resolved my purpose of the appointment. Not only was Dr. Desai very polite and thorough, but his staff too.

The ER at AGH made me an appointment with Dr. Desai three weeks in the future although I was becoming very ill and losing the ability to walk. Dr. Desai's office changed my appointment to the same day and he admitted me to the hospital. He recognized that I really needed help.

As a patient, I'm big on taking an active role in my own healthcare. I do my research, I come to my appointments with my own thoughts and ideas, and I don't make complaints out of hand. A relationship with any doctor should be based on trust, and when concerns, both about medication and about health, are casually dismissed, it's clear that Dr Desai doesn't trust me to know my own health.
