He did not rush through the appointment even though he had to see more patients after me. I was very satisfied with the level of professionalism he displayed.

Dr Houseworth was very understanding of my struggles and listened to concerns and addressed my options for dealing with them.

Doctor Houseworth listen to my concerns and questions regarding gastric sleeve versus gastric bypass surgery, and answered all my questions, and addressed all my concerns, and gave his true and honest opinion about which surgery would work best for me and my individual medical history and case.

Would absolutely recommend Dr Houseworth.

This doctor is wonderfully awesome. I just had the gastric sleeve that he performed. Thus far he did a great job and has taken care of me post-op--truly beyond. I highly recommend Dr. Housworth especially if you are like me who has lots of anxiety. This dr understands and will get you through this life-saving surgery! I feel extremely luck to have him be my Doctor.

Dr. Houseworth left the office just before my first appointment with him. According to his staff, he didn’t even tell them he was going across the parking lot to see a patient in the hospital. I was asked to wait 10 minutes. Which I understandably did. Then I was told that he wouldn’t come back to the office and see me, that I would have a telehealth appointment the next day instead. As an RN I’m appalled that this surgeon wants to revise my entire digestive system but wouldn’t take the effort to meet me in person. He didn’t feel a history and physical was worth his time, that I was worth his time. I have a very critical medical history which is why I drove an hour in the pouring rain to meet with him in person. Thanks but no thanks. I’m obviously not worth your time.

I had a very rough go w/my bypass surgery & was in a ton of pain which was difficult to manage. Dr. Houseworth came to check on me the day after surgery but didn't really offer any insight as to why I was in so much pain. The next day, Elizabeth came to see me and I expressed concern that Dr. Houseworth had only checked on me once for a very short period of time. She told me she would see if he could come by again which he did but only for a second before he took a call & never came back.

I saw Dr. Houseworth for my initial consultation, final pre-op consulation and day of and day after surgery. This is pretty standard, as his awesome staff takes care of a lot of the in between appointments. Each time I met with Dr. Houseworth I was very satisfied with his professionalism, and attention to my care.
