Bedside manners
Terrible bedside manners, rushed me through. Ask a few questions and said he could not do anything for me, without explanation.

Appointment Scheduling
The neurosurgeon‘s office has rescheduled my appointment again. The last time that I saw Dr. Middleton was in December when the stitches were removed. I have not been back to his office since. Am I in pain? No, but my back is staying very sore. I do not know what I can and cannot do. The office has rescheduled me 4 times. The last time I was rescheduled twice on one day. They expect me to just drop everything and be their earlier. I’ve told them on several occasions that I work and have to give advance notice. She said I was not even on the schedule to be seen today and Dr. Middleton was not in the office because I did not confirm the appointment that was left on my voicemail. I told her the lady called me and I spoke to her over the phone and confirmed it. I also specifically asked if he would be in the office or did I need to reschedule with another neurosurgeon. Dr. Middleton is a fantastic surgeon. I highly recommend him. Whoever is in charge of the scheduling, needs to be fired!

Lisa, 84, had lots of pain problems, however, a new one in her right leg was overpowering all other pains. Dr. Middleton, interviewed her on Monday, got a new MRI on Tuesday, reviewed things with Lisa on Wednesday, operated on Tuesday and she got immediate relief. From pain to cured in 8 days. He is good!

Dr. Middleton was great. I had horrible pain I'm my left leg. I could barely put pressure on my left foot. Dr. Middleton known what It was right away ,and orders an MRI to confirm. I had a herniated disc with a pinched sciatic nerve that left me bed ridden and unable to care for my child. He recommended a micro disectomy and i am so glad I went thru the procedure. As soon as I got up after surgery I could walk again. He really takes the time to explain what's wrong and answers questions.

I was referred to Dr Middleton by my family doctor. I was suffering from severe lower back pain. The first visit went well, he listened to me and didn’t cut me off describing my problem. He examined my back and asked a lot of questions. He ordered a MRI to be performed the next week at his office and I saw him right after to get the results. He showed my wife and I images of my back. I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. We both felt very comfortable with him.

He did 2 back surgeries on me and I am worse off now than I was before surgery and now he refuses to speak with me. He won't even take an appointment with me. He says that I am good to go back to work.

Excellent Dr. He saved my wife from being paralyzed by having emergency surgery the next morning. She had been having arm and hand numbness and tingling. It started all of a sudden. It progressed to her losing balance, falling, fingers stiff and curling up,electrical shock when moving her neck.He knew right away what it was.The disk between c5 and c6 had slipped and crushed her spinal cord. They said she was 1 hiccup away from being permanently paralyzed.Dr. Middleton is my HERO.
