Disappointed
Dr. Ketema ordered a biopsy that was not necessary and it was expensive. The results were negative. She also was flippant with me. Moreover, the billing dept was relentless. I will never go back.

Atrocious bedside manner. Additionally, while she shamed me for not going to a referral doctor right away, she did tell not have lab work on file which was sent to her office and was not familiar with my file at all. I had answered all of her questions by another doctor in her office 2 weeks prior. Shaming and judgmental.

My bad-doctor experience
Unfortunately, she was my bad-doctor experience. I was so calm when I realized she was a POC, but it all went downhill from there. She rushed my appointment and made me feel worse for losing my pregnancy. Icy demeanor for the situation I was in at the time. I left that office feeling worse. Her rating on here doesn't surprise me one bit, patients deserve better.

Very encouraging and informative.
After a bad experience with another healthcare provider, we switch insurance. At 24 weeks we moved over to Ritter, Johnson, Hill Practice.Dr. Ketema helped walk us through our pregnancy and delivered. Every step of the way she was caring, informative and encouraging.

Not helpful
As a black doctor you would think she would advocate for her black patients … she doesn’t listen and ignores your thoughts or deters you from your feelings. She did unnecessary testing on me with my first pregnancy. Then the second one, caused me unnecessary pain checking my cervix and said “my fingers are too small”. Didn’t bother to get someone to else. I do not recommend her to anyone honestly.

Very professional and kindly manner
Dr. Tsion isn't my usual gynecologist, I saw her for a pelvic pain condition when my regular doctor was booked. She was very knowledgeable & excellent manner, kindly, professional, and non-judgemental - I felt very comfortable discussing my issue which I am sensitive about and which in the past had been dismissed. She answered all my questions clearly and patiently (some doctors get uncomfortable answering questions). I definitely would recommend.
