Caring, kind, knowledgeable and goes the extra mil
Dr Ranjan ALWAYS took her time, explained things, answered our questions, made herself available and she listened to my husband's hopes, dreams and his goals when we devised a treatment plan. Dr Ranjan fought to give Bryan the best chances for long term survival with a GBM Multiform tumor. We had 3 wonderful years... when he was first diagnosed the best case scenario from the regular oncologist was possibly 6 -9 months. My daughter and I will forever be greatful to Dr Ranjan for giving us the quality family time...because for her Bryan was able to see our daughter graduate pre school, start kindergarten, 1st grade and second grade. We still thank God for bringing her in to our lives and for the live and compassion that she extended to my husband, my daughter and I. We lost Bryan in 2017....but we would not have had those years without Dr Ranjan

Amazing and attentive
I’m reading these reviews and I’m shocked. This was not our experience. Dr Ranjan was kind, caring, upfront about the GBM diagnosis, and realistic about expectations. She provided us with amazing care and was positive, professional, and supportive while giving us options for second opinions. I would highly recommend her. Her bedside manner is better than anyone else we saw. Her care gave us quality time with my dad. For that I will be forever grateful.

Never felt like patients 1756, very caring.
Felt secure with her at TGH, unfortunately, she was never welcomed and allowed free reign although her dedication and desire to help those like myself, I need to get the care that they needed. Now. I’m concerned because the lead in this program didn’t see this for himself, and her value was underrated.

never in my life have i met someone so callous & insensitive. after prescribing my mother a high sodium diet knowing she had high blood pressure my mother suffered a stroke & had to be taken off of life support. minutes before she passed away, Ranjan walked into the room to see how things were, & told us that she thought there was a chance of recovery, despite other doctors saying there was no chance. She left, & in that time my mom passed away. Ranjan promptly came back into the room & word for word said, “oh my god this is just my luck. i was here five minutes ago & now that i’m back she passed away.” not only this, but days after she passed, she called back to tell us there was no chance. she is the worst doctor i have ever met, & i’ve met plenty due to my moms illness.

Dr Ranjan has been my husband's oncologist since discovery of his glioblastoma metaforme GBM, Oct 2016. According to all projections, my husband should not have survived this length of time, but with her careful monitoring of his treatments and meds, she has managed to provide him with a good quality of life. That was her stated goal from the beginning...no matter the protocol given by other experts. She knows her patients and listens to them and their caregivers to provide tailored care, aggressive enough, yet gentle to preserve quality of life. She knows the disease and has helped prepare us along the progression. Both my husband and I are extremely grateful for her expertise and her personal love and care in her interaction with us. She has made herself available at all times, answering our questions and explaining nuances of the disease. Her staff, Kathy and Donna, have also been very supportive. It has been over 3 years of survival and we are managing well.
