Went to see Dr. Ward for a retinal issue. Had an appointment at the Maryland Pkwy office. Had to wait almost 2 hours past my appointment time before he came into the examination room. The doctor was cold as ice, personality wise. Very dry, like a piece of toast. He needs to work on his interpersonal skills. Not questioning his competence. Seemed knowledgeable. Just needs to loosen up, smile once in a while and stop being so serious. This is why I took off one star from the rating.

Received retina surgery in 2016. He restored vision in left eye. Follow ups in 2017 and 2018 proved successful. An excellent doctor with utmost personal attention

Very professional! Very consideriate of the patients concerns. Very detailed in explaining the work that has to be done to be corrected. Very honest in the percentage of success of operation and what he has to do to fix. Very humble man. Takes his work very passionately. Very trust worthy. If the patient does exactly what he says you will have a successful result.

was referred to dr ward for macular edema. he is very patient & answers & explains my questions. my treatment is eye injections & it sounds barbaric but he is very gentle & i have never felt any pain. His office got me in very quickly when i had a problem plus he calls me back personally when i need to speak with him

My husband is being treated by Dr Ward for over a year now. Dr Ward is the kindest, most considerate doctor that we have ever met. He takes time to listen. My husband who was nearly blind is able to see again thanks to Dr. Tyson Ward.
