Always early or on time. Very caring and compassionate. Knowledgeable, great surgeon that knew how to fix a complex problem with unexpected findings during surgery. Had my right knee surgery in 2017 but my left knee surgery performed in December of 2024 was 100% better than my first surgery. Was able to walk my daily 5000 steps after the 2nd week. Recovery was so much better this time. Dr. Ihekweazu is a gifted surgeon. PT from Dr. Warnock’s office are amazing. Holly, Rosa, Hillary and Aaron worked me hard but the results were incredible. Three months (and after many years) I’m walking up and downstairs. Yes, I would highly recommend Dr. Ihekweazu and the PT team at Willowbrook.

Told it like it was, needed both knees replaced. Cannot recommend Dr Ihekweazu more highly. Everyone stays knee replacement surgery is and the recovery is long and hard. I was walking around after each separate knee surgery on day two with little pain and had exceeded the knee flexibility goals with two weeks. Do the work and it's nothing like the rumors say. Dr. Ihekweazu relaced both my hips a year apart. He is very patient and answered all my questions . Going into surgery, I felt very prepared going into surgery. Recovery was easy because of the knowledge I had going in. I would 100% recommend him!!!

When I walked into Dr. Ihekweazu’s office early summer 2022 I could barely walk, my two knees were gone and I needed total knee replacement surgery on both of them. On my first visit to him was my daughter who is also an MD, and when we left Dr. Ihekweazu’s office I was convinced that he will take care of my knees. My daughter said Dr. Ihekweazu was as recommended by other Physicians. The two knee surgeries done by Dr. Ihekweazu were flawless and today I walk four miles every day as a form of exercise five to six times a week. After the surgeries Dr. Ihekweazu’s bedside manners were very excellent. He didn’t hesitate to tell me all I needed to know and answered all my questions in the most simplest terms. Post surgery during office visits I received excellent care from him and his staff. Working with Dr. Ihekweazu one can tell he was created by God to be an Orthopedic Surgeon. He loves taking care of his patients . He is God sent and God Bless him.

What is so important to me is a doctor & staff that smile. It is a funny thing but when they smile you start to relax a little bit with each person. When the doctor shakes your hand it feels like he is trying to connect with you to let you know he will take care of you. Third the way the doctor speaks in a very calming way makes you already feel you’ve made the right choice. Doctor Ihekwauzu was not recommended to me - I read his profile along with so many other doctors. His kindness & understanding is reflected in his words. By him saying he treats every patient like family I just knew then that this was the person I was going to trust to help me.

Dr. Ihekweazu is wonderful! Anything you might want in a surgeon he has. He is very personable and truly cares about his patients. I had a knee replacement 10 years before and swore I would never do that again. Dr. Ihekweazu showed such compassion and explained everything. Literally up to the moment I checked in for surgery, I thought I would cancel. The surgery was a 180 degree opposite of my first. Pain was minimal. The hospital staff was very caring and professional. Recovery and rehab were very smooth. Anyone facing the need for knee surgery should see Dr. Ihekweazu. He and his staff are the best. I refer everyone I know with knee problems to him. I can’t thank him enough.
