Dr. Uma Guniganti, MD

She takes her time to explain things to her patients. Sometimes this causes her to get behind on her daily schedule and that’s okay. I usually get to my appointments early and depending on what that appointment is for, I get in and out early. Her staff has always been courteous to me except for one time when you could tell they were overwhelmed.

Dr Guniganti pays attention to details. When my stress test showed problems, she scheduled additional tests, & soon I was scheduled for bypass. I am here today due to Dr G's attentiveness. Dr G is very personable. She answers my questions, gives me suggestions how to improve my heart health, as well as addresses my spouse's and my concerns.

Great Dr.! She has the patient's interest as her top priority.

This place is joke. I was scheduled to have testing done here, drove 1.5 hours, took the entire day off work, only to get here and it’s cancelled. Then they tried to put it off on Oklahoma Heart for not contacting me but it is their office that schedules and does the tests, and charges for them. They only pass the information to the Dr. at Oklahoma Heart. I just called my Dr at Oklahoma Heart and reschedule with them and I will drive to OKC where they have their act together and actually care about their patients. Driving 3 hours one way is better then having to deal with these jokers again!

Dr. Guniganti has been treating my TAD condition for the last six years. She is very thorough and is genuinely concerned with my well-being. She put in my father-in-law's pacemaker several years ago and at 96 he's doing well. Dr. G. has reorganized her office and replaced most of her staff with friendly and competent personnel. I believe she is a real asset to our community and I feel fortunate that she is my cardiologist. Five Star Rating!

She seemed competent enough but whoever runs the office is not honest!

I'm sure she's a good doctor if you can get into see her. The office is very unorganized and the office staff has very little motivation to assist. Possible understaffed. My opinion only, and may have just had a bad experience!

Dr. G is hurt by her staff. Other reviewers have outlined their lack of professionalism so I won't waste time doing it again. Let's just say they are both uncaring and incompetent.

There is absolutely no communication between Dr and staff at this office. Although I found Dr G and Ecco technician to be very pleasant and knowledgeable it is impossible to overlook her horrific staff. They are the rudest, incompetent and simply do not care in the least about your health. I urge you to find a different heart cardiologist location anywhere else. I was told that Dr only looks at your test on weekends. Still wondering which weekend because I never received a call from anyone.

After Dr. Guniganti put in my dad's pacemaker, she met with us a couple of times both to check on his progress and to give us information about his device. She was very friendly and professional, taking the time to be sure any questions we had were answered.

She is a sweet Doctor. However her office staff was not efficient or effective. My mom was to have a stint put in at OKC due to having too much blockage. It has been two days and her office staff has not gotten back with our family about scheduling. There was no one answering the office phones on Wednesdays. Her blockage stint or bipass was to be scheduled this week. This is an important matter that needs to be addressed.

Poor communication by staff & doctor.
