Dr. Aroonlap is extremely kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She continues to go out of her way to help me with my depression and anxiety, especially in the county system. I know I am cared for and supported.

Usa is nice and really listens. She cares about my well being and she doesn't judge. I am glad she's at the sunset location and hope she's here to stay :)

I've suffered from depression and anxiety for the last 20 years, in that time I've seen dozens of different psychiatrist. Dr. Aroonlap was the best Dr. I've ever seen in 20 plus yrs. She is very caring and is open to different and multiple approaches to help in recovery from mental illness. Dr Aroonlap is outstanding in her practice and I would highly recommend her to my friends and relatives.

She has a condescending manner towards me and makes me feel stupid. She's willing to discuss different medications approaches, though. Our visits feel transactional and robotic. Sunset Mental Health and Ocean Park are unattractive, bare-bones offices. But you can't ask for more - they're city clinics serving low-income and uninsured people. City clinics are phasing out benzos - that's very bad for the patients who actually need it.
