Can't see Physician of 12 years
My husband is a patient of Dr Patel for 12 years..on his last visit, he was told only 30% of his heart was functioning and to call if any problems I called today because he is short of breath when walking..coughing white phlegm, sleeping, no appetite, I also mentioned he had a low grade temp the day before..I did a covid test and it is negative..I told Amber all of this and told her I was afraid it was something affecting his heart..Amber said with his symptoms he can't be seen in the office. She said call his primary physician..I called Dr Roman's his primary physician and they told me he could not be seen in their officeI was told to take him to a piedmont urgent care My husband doesn't feel like going to an urgent care. He said he wants to be seen by the physician that knows his medical history..heart failure, kidney failureGod please watch over everyone that needs medical care with a physician that won't see them when nedded

Very good cardiologist
He has been my cardiologist for 7 years now and is always thorough, friendly, attentive and extremely compassionate. He never makes me feel like I am stupid or paranoid and always reassures me that things are going well and I’m doing well. I have never met a doctor that takes the time to talk with you, explaining everything, if you have questions or concerns about any of what’s happening he ensures you are aware and understand all that is happening.

Total recall of medical information on all patients without having to pull a file. Very concerned with an extremely fantastic bedside manner. Very even temperament, does not brush off patient concerns. Very much liked and respected by the cardiac nurses with who he works at the hospital.
