Refuses to see does not feel qualified
No visit. 2 days before appt. I receive a call canceling my appointment as Dr. Bella does not feel she can treat my MS. She sees patients with MS as I was a patient there until her nurse practitioner left years back. I placed a call to OGH and was transferred to quality assurance. A message was left and I will be surprised if I receive a call back.

My Dogs vet is better
Won't call back, won't get mom tools that help her to breath at nights was not nice to me at visit. I'm mom caregiver and she won't lean to me. Four months and still waiting on here to get back with us. The best thing about the whole vite was the visiting room 1 out of 10 rating I'd give here a .01 for nice waiting room

I can't believe she gets paid for this
I've been coming in with MS symptoms for almost 3 years and she passed the buck to a back surgeon the first time. Now its she has to get an appointment with me to 'review her notes'. I had an EEG with slowing. Falling everyday, vision issues. This after having the receptionist refused to schedule a follow-up as we left and didn't answer any of my messages for a few weeks until my PCP called to set up the follow-up. I'm currently having new symptoms pop up such as vibrations in my chest and stomach, and I cant help but think it could have been mitigated if I had gotten help in time. I'm calling around for a new doctor now and I don't care if Belle is 20 minutes away. I want my health back.

Zero Communication or Follow Through
The office staff was friendly enough - if you could actually reach anyone. I had tried to call the office with questions about the test I would be having done - over two weeks before I got a call back. The day of the test I got a call from my mother that the Drs office had been trying to reach me to reschedule - they had not called my personal or work numbers. It has now been over a month since the test was completed, the results were disclosed to me at the office and I was told they would be sent to my PCP and specialist. Neither office has received them, I have not had a response to any of the 10 VMs I have had to leave, not the note I left when I went into the office and was told no one was available and that when they came back they ' would be far too busy.' My Specialist's office cannot reach anyone for these test results. I would not recommend this office at all, take the drive to Buffalo. I will be escalating my concerns.

Rude and uncompassionate
Dr Velle basically scolded me for bothering her with an appointment and told me to go to my primary with all the neuro problems that I have. Very rude. Would not recommend.

Terrible Follow Up
I had an appointment over a month ago. A pre authorization was supposed to be completed and a follow up appointment scheduled. I have yet to hear from Dr. Belle's office. I've called, no answer, I've left voice messages, no return calls. it has been disappointing because the doctor seemed really nice. But, as far as having anyone pick up the phone or being able to make an appointment or have someone return a phone call, it is very unprofessional. Absolutely terrible. Worst I've ever experienced in healthcare.

Poor Bedside Manner
Although I'm unable to speak to her skills with Neurology, her bedside manner during my appointment was lacking. In my experience with her, I found her demeaning, dismissive, and way too comfortable exhibiting a weight bias. As a patient, these things matter to me, so I won't be going back to her.

Waste of time. She was supposed to give me two different medications for my neuropathy. One wound up being a psych Med instead of a pain reliever and knocked me for a loop. The other one was written to be compounded, and I had to take that to a different Pharmacy, and the pharmacist told me the prescription was written wrong, so it took almost a week to get it written correctly. Only to find out my insurance doesn't cover compounded medications. A week later I was finally able to obtain similar prescription that was not compounded, and that one wasn't covered under my insurance. Any doctor I've ever been to always lets me know whether my insurance will cover or not. It's now three weeks later and I'm still trying to get a different medication that is not a psych Med. But guess what, she and her nurses are on vacation for the whole week. So I'm back to square one. Oh yeah, and they will not return your phone calls. If anything, the aggravation has got my mind off the pain. Not!

Dr. Belle herself is a competent doctor, but when it takes a week to get her office to send in a refill for a needed medication, and they lie to you about sending it, there's no point in going to see her.
