I am extremely disappointed with the care provided by Dr. B. As the family member of a possible dementia patient, I felt completely dismissed and unheard during our visit. She showed little interest in addressing our concerns and brushed off our input as though it didn’t matter. A doctor should work with the family, especially when dealing with a complex condition like dementia. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone looking for compassionate and attentive care.

My wife has Dementia and we met with the Dr. on our 1st visit; she was recommended as a Geriatric Neurologist. Because we lived 40 miles away, we did video teleconferences a number of times thereafter, but never with the Dr., only with an assistant. Eventually after a number of teleconferences I realized the person we were talking to never inquired about my wife and any issues she might be having; the conversations were almost like a social event with the option of renewing any medications that had been prescribed. I would have expected a private conversation with me to assess my wife’s condition, problems she’s having etc. and suggest medication changes or other care that might be appropriate; it never happened. I finally asked what the plan, reason was for continuing the video conference calls and got NO answers. Based on the response, I didn’t see any reason to continue the conference calls. No one has made an attempt to contact me since to discuss my decision.
