I was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital after a collapse from a pulmonary embolism. Dr. Norton took one look at me as they unloaded the stretcher from the ambulance and knew exactly what was wrong and what to do. She ordered a life saving drug immediately from the pharmacist and the moment a CT scan confirmed a large blood clot in my lungs, they administered the drug. Her knowledge and experience, plus the rest of the amazing team in the ER that day, saved my life. I'm forever grateful.
