Dr. Valmarie Ramos, MD

If you want to be an informed patient, she is not the one for you. She feels threatened by asking questions. She doesn’t like repeating herself if you don’t understand the first time. She limits her appointments to 15 minutes. Doesn’t find it necessary to call after images or scans. Won’t show you those images and scans. If I would’ve followed her advice for chemo, it would’ve been for the wrong profile, after a biopsy it was deemed to be totally different treatment. Luckily, I held on to my gut instinct. She is arrogant, talks fast and ESL, so it’s hard to understand or follow at times. I’m a stage four cancer patient.

I saw a review claiming she was an opportunist and I agree with that statement 100%. Made poor decisions in regards to my mothers health, now another doctor has to be fixing her mistakes. How do you frequently give a sick level patient multiple blood transfusions and not check their blood. My mother now has a high iron overload we are trying to lower. Would not go with her again.

Confrontational, liar, lacks empathy for family members. Oh one more thing opportunist.

Dr. Ramos is exceptional, in every aspect, and is a great example for other ocologists.

Dr Ramos is always kind and attentive while caring for me. She discusses patient care in a professional manner and always does so with a huge smile. I feel comfortable talking with her even though my visits are only once a year now!I highly recommend her as well as the office. The have a very nice staff.

As the five stars below show I was pleased with everyone that helped us, Melissa was very sweet and professional and even escorted my Dad to the men's room he is 86 and uses a walker and I was at the counter doing paper work, as far as Dr. Ramos well I left feeling very informed of everything we had to do as far as blood test and Pet scan and we are going back for results and will decide what the best course of action will be, she explains everything in detail, I left with no question unanswered

I just finished my first appointment with Dr. Ramos. Absolutely the best doctor I have ever seen. Highly skilled, articulate, and just a pleasure, explained in great detail what was going on with me when no one else could. Took the time and listened to everything that was happening. Highly recommended go see the doc. You won't be disappointed.
