My husband and I couldn't be more appreciative for Dr. Rao for her genuine and ongoing care for our son these past two years. She helped navigate a very scary situation in the beginning, to a now more confident, bright and happy young man as a result of her care. She truly cares for her patients and always listens attentively during sessions, while providing ample time. Very courteous, responsive and respectful.

Dr. Rao is an extremely qualified psychiatrist. She was thorough and detailed in her examination. Moreover, she is a very kind and caring person. You would not want to see another psychiatrist once you see her.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rao?
My wonderful psychiatrist of 7 years retired, leaving me to find a new doctor that I could trust with the well-being of my mental health. I was hoping, even expecting to have scheduled a new patient appointment with the “best” psychiatrist in Dallas when I set one with Dr. Rao. You know that one time when you read countless glowing five star reviews for that cute little restaurant nearby? Cut to you picking up lunch from the place only to later find yourself hunched over a toilet bowl, sweating and traumatized by the whole experience. That’s pretty much how my psychiatrist appointment with Dr. Rao went, but without the restaurant bit, just the latter end. I can confidently guess that any other psychiatrist in DFW would have shown more care for me than Dr. Roa did during our first and only appointment. I hope this review will spare even one person from the trauma that this “medical professional”, Dr. Rao, inflicts because I still carry that trauma with me. Best wishes.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rao?
Dr. Rao is simply the best, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Dr. Rao gives her focused attention every time I walk into her office, and it’s refreshing to have a psychiatrist who cares about my development and progress as a person rather than treating me as a just another person who needs to be diagnosed/medicated. Dr. Rao is the only psychiatrist I’ve worked with who gives her patients an opinion, trusts their voice, and treats the relationship as a partnership.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rao?
Dr. Vandana Rao is the most dedicated, passionate, and genuine psychiatrist in the DFW area. Dr. Rao gives her focused attention every time I walk into her office, and it’s refreshing to have a psychiatrist who cares about my development and progress as a person rather than treating me as a just another person who needs to be diagnosed/medicated. I’ve been through enough psychiatrists to know how special a great psychiatrist can be, and words in a simple review cannot do her justice.
