I had Mohs surgery done for a Basel cell. She is very good at what she does. The outcome was good with just a little scar.

I was referred to "Doctor Vanessa" by my dermatologist, after a biopsy indicated the presence of basil cell carcinoma, requiring Mohs surgery. From the instant I met her, I felt she was special. Have had a number of great experiences with DMG doctors during the last "trying" couple years - and none was more impressive than Dr. Lichon. Her focus, sincerity &efficiency was remarkable. Even received a personal VOICEMAIL from her just hours after the procedure to ask how I was doing. Amazing.

I was referred to Dr. Lichon because a biopsy on my face showed a small squamous carcinoma. Dr. Lichon exercised this tumor using local anesthetic with skill. She then reviewed the tissue under the microscope and reported to me within one hour that the margins of the biopsy were clear. She then carefully closed the biopsy site and answered any questions I had. My biopsy incision healed nicely. I highly recommend Dr. Lichon for anyone who needs this type of skin surgery/biopsy/excision.

There's a feeling of utmost competence and judgment imparted when I need to visit her because of my skin cancers. Her skill in using the Mohs procedure is remarkable - you can barely notice a scar or trace of the surgery.

Very pleased with full explanation of procedure and recovery. Also was so appreciative of having both procedures being performed in light of the restricted timeframe that I had available. Thank you for being so patient considerate in your service.

At the moment, not likely. Although I blame myself for not having a consultation prior to procedure, I thought my discussions with the dermatologist was sufficient. It was NOT. I am only one week out, and at the moment not happy with scar or the various conflicting answers from the nursing staff. I may change my review in a few months if I see better results, but I continue to get requests for a review so here it is, not good.

Dr. Lichon is a terrific physician and I highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and kind. She took the time to answer all of my questions and was instrumental in helping me with a skin graft issue from a MOHS. Working with her, the issue is almost completely healed now and I am so thankful.

Dr. Lichon is very focused on doing the best thing for you as an individual and does not take a one size fits all approach. She is friendly and is very thorough in her explanations. She personally called me late in the day after my procedure to check on how I was doing and the nurse called the next morning to check on me again. Her staff is extremely helpful and attentive.
