Dr. Varsha Upadhyaya, MD

Failed to mention any side effects for prescribed birth control. Very rude, uncaring, and rushes through appointments. Quick to dismiss concerns and doesn't like answering questions. She tells you to change back into your clothes in front of her which I found to be unprofessional and inappropriate. I was billed 40 min of high level counseling and a $250 office visit when they had lost my appt time and I waited almost an hour to be seen. My dialogue with the dr lasted maybe 4 minutes.

Had a terrible experience with her. She has a horrible bed side manner. She talks down to you and doesn't allow you to finish talking. She was never prepared. Her face was always burried in the chart. She is extremely rude. I would never recommend her. She was neither trustworthy, professional, or sanitary. She also spoke down to her workers. The office is also very overwhelmed it seems and I always had problems with them with various things.

Every time I would go to see her, I would wait at least an hour. Her staff is the worst. I noticed they were taking people that checked in after me ahead of me. When I asked why, they told me those visits would be really quick so they just sent them in. My appointment was literally 3 minutes with the doctor. She failed to acknowledge there are side affects to having a tubal ligation, and then dismissed complaints. She claimed my sudden PMS and severe cramping was due to just getting older.

I would never recommend this doctor . She doesn't know what she is doing . I had the worst experience ever . I thought I was gonna die and she was uncaring and caused me to contract an infection because she didn't follow proper procedure .

I had my first gyno visit with her in October and she recommended I take the depo shot. However she did not explain it to me and did not ask me if I suffered anxiety or depression, both things that can get worse on depo. I bled for 6 months straigt on depo and every time I went to her, she told me I was exaggerating and sent me home. I was in the hospital twice from how bad I got and I became violent and suicidal from the hormones. Her staff mocked me during one of my visits. Bad doctor.

A few of my appointments were cancelled by the doctor, but I found out AFTER I arrived to the office. The staff didn't bother to call to let me know. Every wait time was over 30 min, and that doesn't include the time that I arrived in advance to my scheduled time. Several times the doctor arrived AFTER my scheduled appointment time. I had to wait over an hour once. She doesn't like to answer questions and rushes through the visit. I DO NOT recommend this Dr.
