Dr. Vasundhara Putcha, MD

This is one of the worst doctors I have ever had. She doesn’t listen to her patients & shows no interest in how they’re actually doing. As a new patient, she took me off of an anxiety medicine that I had been on for the past 3 years because she “didn’t feel comfortable” giving it to me & did not offer any other solution. So I’ve been living with no way to calm my anxiety. She also tried to prescribe me a $100 “vitamin” that would help with my ADHD. When I told her that that was too expensive, she said she could offer me $25 off through another website. Then, when I asked if there were any substitutes or similar medications that she could give me instead, she simply replied with “no”. My reply to her was “well that’s not helpful whatsoever”. Her reply to me was “you’re right”. I told her “you’re my doctor and you’re just going to sit there and tell me you can’t help me?”. And again, she replied with a simple “yep”. She just wants your money. Do not waste your time with someone like her.

Truly one of the worst doctors I’ve ever seen. I was already hesitant about taking medications because of doctors like her. I’ve had many issues with her ranging from not answering my calls for a refill when she had no availability, to having her turn around her computer and saying “here you pick the medication you want since you want to prescribe it yourself” after I asked if I could increase my medications slowly since I was scared of the side effects. You owe it to yourself to find someone who will respect and listen to you, and I promise it won’t be her.

Ive been seeing her for the past 8 years. She always helps me see things a different way. I love her, very personable.
