I was deeply disappointed in Dr. Jampala. It took months to get in for an appointment and I waited over 30 minutes to see him. He was militant in his execution of healthcare - looked at his computer the entire time, as he was typing away. NO eye contact, NO compassion or emotion at all. I explained my traumatic history and he expressed NO compassion. I explained (and showed him) all the meds I had been on in the past, and all he wanted to do was prescribe MORE of the same meds. Waste of time!

I only saw Jampala 3 times following two inpatient psychiatric stays, but he left a very negative impression. The visits started with waiting 30-45 past appointment time, only to see him for about 5-10 minutes, during which he would ask if I thought the medication was working. When I expressed concern over loss of appetite after raising my med dosage, he made a derogatory comment about my weight implying that the side effect should be seen as a benefit. He did not care about my wellbeing.
