Exceptional Knowledge and Care
Dr. Zac is the most caring, knowledgeable psychiatrist I have seen in 30 years of mental health treatment. She listened intently to my concerns about meds that have long-lasting side effects on my physical health and longevity of life. Having Bipolar 1 disorder, we were able to stabilize my condition with meds that had the least side effects long term. Examples of concens: cognition, renal function, endoctrine, pre-diabetes, metabolism, longevity & quality of life. I am 66 & my Bipolar 1 is a monster that I fight every single day. When relocating to this area, I was very concerned about establishing mental health care. Dr. Zac's knowledge of medications & combinations was life saving for me. If I have a crisis, I can speak to her ARPN, and she will consult with Dr. Zac. i have had her call me back twice to check on me. I'd take negative reviews lightly, when we are younger, we just don't have the realization that there is no quick fix and certainly no miracles for us.

Excellent Clinician
Dr. Zak was very kind and thorough in the intake session and has managed my medications very well. Dr. Zak only does medication management, so the poor review she received from the client that complained because they were told that Dr. Zak would not give ADHD medications, is not a true evaluation. She doesn't do psychotherapy, so that client not wanting medicine, only wanting psychotherapy, was rightfully refused treatment.

Confrontational Staff
I arrived today from my initial visit with Dr Zack. It took everything I had to make it to the appointment because I was so anxious and nervous. Upon arrival the nurse immediately confronted me telling me that we could they could not give me any ADHD medicine. Did not say hi how you doing welcome you know anything just immediately we cant give you ADHD medicin that wasn't why we were there we were there for tools to help us to deal with our depression and anxiety. I have been off my medication for 6 years if I wanted meds I would go looking for that that was not why I went there today. I was trying to get some tools to help to deal with my problems not be confronted and made feel like I was doing something wrong or I was in the wrong place they had more than one person come in the room to discuss the ADHD medicine which wasn't even the reason that I was there. Very confrontational unprofessional and inadequate if anybody is in need of mental health services. Look elsewhere.

Dr Zak will work with you to find what medicine works best for you. She is a very nice person but is quite overworked, by my observation.
