Dr. Veronika Sharp, MD

this tyrant doesnt minimize suffering but instead focus on gaslighting us patients. sharp, the "head of rheumatology" backs up previous "rheumatologist",amlani who promotes herbal/natural remedies. I was treated by doctor Bush, and lupus was treated well, when in pain, my doctor listened and minimized the pain that comes in differ forms for lupus. but then he retired and i got amlani who was slowly trying to get me to try natural remedies for pain. i would not buy in her "accepting suffering and be in pain ideology" and she grew angry with me. she said, i will not give you prednisone, you will never get it again. she then wrote a note on my medical chart that states not to prescribe me prednisone. she said the labs are normal, you dont have pain. then i changed rheumatologist they gave me veronika sharp because i had complained about amlani. sharp is unreasonable and lacks compassion. She failed to provide me w/ the care and treatment needed regarding pain management.

She is extremely unemphatic, unprofessional and uncaring about patients. Looks like she chose the wrong feild. She doesn't check her own staffs message about urgent medical concerns reported. How on Earth is she the department head is very very troubling.

This doctor does not listen, nor does she look at records / test results before visit. She is cold and uncaring and spends 5 -10 minutes max with patient. Worst rheumatologist I've been to.

Smart, efficient, good use of staff.
