Dr. Vidur Ghantiwala, DO

Dr. Ghantiwalla is way to technical and doesn't explain things well. He suggested nerve ablation, which was not covered by insurance; and said it would be 'permanent'. It did work for 2 days and then reversed itself. At a follow-up appointment, which he didn't show up for and sent his assistant instead, the assistant was unable to explain why a 'permanent' procedure had reversed itself after only 2 days and also suggested we could redo the procedure in 6 months. It appears they don't understand the meaning of the word 'permanent'. Over the 8 months under his care, at most, he provided 5-10 days of relief. What they attempted to bill insurance for office visits was insane, considering how completely ineffective they were. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I went into a surgery center like place and was given 2 shots, one was for a contrast, one to relieve the pain. I have never had such pain as the 'two pain shots' he gave me. I screamed twice, once for each needle going into my back. I still have the pain two weeks later.
