Seek Other Care
I was referred to dr cai by Anthony Lee who was also not helpful or kindfor two procedures. Medial branch block and CESI. I barely got to speak to the man, instead I had to talk to his fellow or student or whatever unqualified person that did the procedures. I received no relief from the procedures and now 4 years later after still doing PT, yoga, acupuncture feel worse than when I first entered this guys care.

Excellent pain management doctor
He is compassionate and hears what I have to say. We come up with a plan together. He has helped me tremendously over the past 3 years. I have dealt with a lot of pain management doctors in the past 30 years he is by far one of the best.

Bad doctor
I am a chronic pain patient with arthritis and sciatica. Seek care elsewhere. Was not caring and was rude. Just because you may be having a bad day does not mean you should bring it to work with you. I am here to be taken care of, not to listen to your problems. Injections were more painful than I had elsewhere. 3 epidurals with middling relief... Not very thorough.

He works in Pain management. I’ve had chronic pain for many years. After trying a couple procedures, he told me that I had to go to another dr then come back and see him. I feel like I’m at a standstill with my treatment. I’ve been seen for over a year, and still no real diagnosis.

Dr. Cai was very kind and helpful during my consult for my back pain. He talked through treatment options and gave me a referral to neurosurgery. He talked me through what exactly was happening in my back. Clarified when I asked questions (and was respectful and precise). He also has a great bedside manner and seems to care for his patients. I ended up getting surgery and was grateful that he was able to give me such a speedy referral and medicine to hold me over in the mean time.
