Dr. Vijay Arekapudi, MD

She is horrible. All she cares about is money. All my visits were rushed, the waiting was the worst part of all. I had a copayment of 500$ and every time I went to my visits she told the front desk person I had to give money for the copayment. From the start of my pregnancy I had nausea and was vomiting 24/7 and I had gone to her office multiple times and all she said was “it’s okay it will go away in a few weeks.” It never stop, I had gone to the ER and they had diagnosed me with hyperemesis gravidarum. She was never concern about my weight, I lost 30 lbs. She never explained to me what exactly she was going to do to me. The day I was about to give birth she came to my room and checked how far I was, I was literally ready to push and she told my nurses “she’s not ready”, she left went back to her damn office and took like 30 mins. I had told my nurses I’m ready to push and they had called the Dr and she came back and said “it’s time.” I don’t know why I did not switch Dr. NEVER AGAIN!

I will not be going back to this doctor again!! She overlooks your questions and rushes you out the door. So she can get more patients and get more insurance money and copayment. It’s really hard to find a doctor that cares about their patient. Never again!

They have taught me to do my research before selecting a doctor rather than just scheduling an appointment with the closest one. I saw her daughter on my first women's wellness checkup with no issues. But when I scheduled my 2nd one just over a year later, her daughter no longer worked there, so I saw Dr. Vijay Arekapudi instead. Even though I had just had a pap done about 13 months ago and they're recommended for every 3 years, she insisted on doing another one anyway. Even after I reminded her I just had one a year ago, and I've never had abnormal results. Seemed like all she was interested in was billing for as much as possible.

If you care about yourself please don’t go to Vijay Arekapudi because she doesn’t care about her patients at all. All she cares about is your type of insurance and getting some money. She never looked at my info and chart before my appointments. Because of the Covid and the current situation I ended up with a Medicaid insurance and she wasn’t happy about it, like I made her accept it. She accepted me as a patient because I was pregnant and after I had a miscarriage she didn’t care to look at my results from the hospital. She stated that everything was normal without looking and to make me feel better she said I can’t go there anymore, I should go to the pcp and if I get a job and insurance then I should go back to her. She is very unprofessional! Nobody deserves such “care”.

Saw both doctors here over a few years, but will not be returning after last visit. Received a collection on testing they did not even inform of 8 months AFTER it occurred. They have my contact and insurance information, so you'd think they would contact me or bill insurance, but neither occurred. Overall, awful practice and no longer trust this practice.

Wait time here is extremely long. You will sit in the waiting room for at least thirty minutes past your appointment time before being called to a room. Once in the room, waiting continues. I was forgotten about in the room for an hour plus waiting for my exam. I would not recommend this office to others

I saw her daughter last year around july and she gave and order for my mammogram but I never schedule the appointment until this year, I went to her office to get a copy for the mammogram, the front desk lady was busy, she was there and ask to me what am I need, I told her I just need a copy for the mammogram, she printed the copy and gave to me, couple weeks after I receive a explanation of payment from my insurance! she billed out my insurance for saw me through the window!!! MONEY MAKER!!!!

Please don't go to this doctor. Even if because of your insurance try another dr. Vijaya n this both work together in same clinic and if you took appointment of this dr her mother Vijaya will check you. Who's horrible lady, only they care about is money the copayment. She knows my blighted ovum at 6 weeks but hide from us. And suddenly on week 8 convinced us to do D&C told us bleeding will too much. But if she told me before there is chance we can use tablet. This doctor's office is a disorganized mess. I saw both doctors during my time there and was very dissatisfied with the care I received. They could not explain my recurrent problem and just shrugged their shoulders at me but ordered an expensive test without informing me it would be a $450 bill! Had to fight to get them to just accept my copay and not charge me for the visit. The office administration was consistently a disorganized confusing mess. Lack of health insurance operations.

I am very disappointed. The doctor scheduled me for a c section at 730 I had to arrive 2hrs before for prepping. I live 30-40 min away from the hospital so I was up by 4am and arrived at the hospital at 5:20 hospital staff was very nice and friendly 7:30 came around and the doctor still hadn't arrived about 20 min later one of the nurses tells me that the doctor wouldn't arrive until 1130 because she got caught up at her office so I have to wait 6hrs for her! Totally unprofessional

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!!! Horrible experience with the staff as well as the doctor. They had the insurance information at the time when appointment was made days prior. The day prior to the appointment they called and took the insurance information again. On the day of the appointment they had not yet contacted the insurance company, so they wanted us to pay out of pocket if we wanted to be seen or wait until they contacted the insurance company, which could take hours they said. Be Ware!
