Good Doc
My wife was a patient of Dr. Pinto and she liked him very much. She had kidney stone surgery and afterward experienced a lot of pain in her back. The after surgery appointment was good and a cat scan showed nothing wrong. She lived in constant agony of pain in her back for a month and resumed chemo which killed her blood to the point where she could not resist any kind of infection. A week after their cat scan she was put into ICU where another scan showed she had a compression fracture in her spine. I honestly believe she was handled in a very rough manner to the point that it caused this fracture. She passed within a 4 days and is finally free of her pain. RIP my dear wife. Although I don't believe Dr. Pinto missed anything I am quite sure the team that were involved in the stone removal sure as hell did.

none
I have been seeing Dr. Pinto for some time now. At times, the wait time is too long, but not always. He is very professional, courteous, good conversation and very good. I trust him. The one problem I had recently was that I needed a refill on a medication and it was denied as they said I had not seen him in a while. That was because my last appt. w/ him was a phone appt. and I wasn't given another appt. Finally, many months later in Oct, I stopped by his office and made an appt. but could not get one until Feb!!! I left a message on the prescription phone line and explained all of this, yet they refused still to refill my meds. I could not wait several months for the appt to get my medicine, so I got my primary doctor to refill it. I sent him a letter explaining all of this and said that if this is going to be the case in the future that maybe I needed another doctor. That has been several weeks now and I have not heard from him.

Your patient’s time is valuable too
I like Dr Pinto and Dr Hawkins and their care very much. However,, sitting in the waiting room for 1.5 hours watching the room empty 2x, then questioning the receptionist as to the nature of the wait only to be dismissed with “you’ll be soon” is a frustrating way to operate a waiting room for patients. After waiting another 15 min. I am forced to leave without seeing the physician due to my own time constraints . . May I just state these words … Time is valuable to patients as well

Medical Records
Dr Pinto may be great for some patients. But he lacks in providing medical records in a timely manner. I filled out a release form and was still waiting after three weeks, therefore I would not recommend Dr Pinto.
