Concerns fully ignored
I came in for persistent miserable itching and rashes. This is something I’ve had since I was a child and my old allergist had helped me get it under control. I had moved recently to NC and my childhood issue had returned and was not responding to the usual treatment. He was fully dismissive and distracted and did not provide any care options that weren’t the ones I was currently trying and failing with, and on top of that when my allergy test came back with a result that would explain why the reaction was so ever present, he fully dismissed this and implied I was just going through antihistamine withdrawal.

Highly Recommend!!
I have a 40 yr history of reoccurring hives. I was fortunate to find Dr. Firrincieli 8 years ago. He immediately did blood test, dug into my history and took a whole different approach than anyone else has ever taken before. He got my hives under control. Seven years later, which is my normal pattern, they are back. My first call was to Dr Firrincieli! I had no doubt who could help me! His staff is also wonderful!

Not helpful
My 7yo was so brave and happy to meet with this doctor. We had explained this doctor was going to help him with his eczema and allergies. Firrincielli was rude, unhelpful and completely apathetic. All of the allergy results came back as abnormally high for every item. His advice was to just keep feeding him things and see what our child actually reacts to. Luckily we found another allergist who cares and ordered more testing and is doing his job to help our family. I would never return to this guy.

very good allergist
My experience with Dr. Firrincielli has been very positive. He's really been helpful in getting my asthma under control and understanding how to manage my allergies. He's a thoughtful listener and answered all my questions well over the years I've been seeing him.

Unhelpful, Rude and Condescending
This is our second appointment with the doctor, both have been terrible. We had our son allergy tested and the doctor gave us nothing to help with our sons terrible eczema - no suggestions, no possible treatments, nothing. We went back a second time because our son is itching all of the time due to allergies/eczema and again the doctor was rude, condescending, and didn’t provide any sort of treatment. I would never suggest him for someone to go see as he made our family uncomfortable and it was a horrible experience.
