Clinic on accepts fully vaccinated children
My daughter is being discharged from the hospital after a 21-month stay. 7-days prior to discharge, the hospital doctor contacted Dr. Koletar to discuss her care and was informed that the clinic did not accept any patient that was not 'fully vaccinated'. I had personally met with the doctor and remember being told that we 'just needed to have a plan' when we discussed vaccinations. The child is very medically fragile, which is why the vaccinations have been delayed. Refusing to take her as a patient 7-days prior to discharge due to her vaccination status was so unbelievable to me that I immediately called the clinic and left an urgent message for Dr. K. asking for him to call me to clear up any confusion. He didn't return the call.Due to the seriousness and urgency of the matter, I found another clinic that does not have such a policy and was willing to work with me on vaccinations. I do not want to go to a clinic that would refuse to take a child in such obvious need of help.

I've had three children grow up under Dr. Koletar's care. He is a good listener and always makes us feel comfortable and that no issue is too small. Others on his staff are great at helping when he is unavailable and we have an emergency need.
