From the first visit, Dr Punia made me feel like there was no hope in my epilepsy and it is what it is. Forget sending a mychart, because you have no chance of contacting him- just his nurse who is not much help and reminds you how many other patients he has. So glad I found another neurologist who has listened to my concerns, and made a positive plan and gave me hope in my treatment plan.

Initially Dr Punia was great however, as time went on he started jumping to conclusions and pushing medications, studies etc on me disregarding my opinion. I felt he wasn’t listening to me. I didn’t appreciate him pushing different types of visits on me telehealth just doesn’t work for me (he had pushed this for over a year). I don’t recommend him to female patients at all he didn’t care about how I was handling my body and insisted that if I didn’t do certain things again to MY body than I was a bad person. I’m sorry but it not his place to tell me I absolutely needed to be on birth control because I couldn’t be trusted or that being gay was not good and making my life worse. I 100% do NOT recommend!!
