Dr. De Stefano is very professional and caring. He answered all of my questions following my 1st cataract surgery and his assistant providing me with a chart regarding my eye drop applications which was extremely helpful in keeping up with when I should take these eye drops.

The procedure that I was considering was elective. The doctor did not try to persuade me to have the surgery, but gave me an objective explanation of the pros and cons. He also gave me his personal opinion, stating that he didn't feel that I would benefit enough from the Surgery to warrant the risks.

Dr. DeStefano made this entire two-cataract surgery worry free. Excellent physician! Very calming going into the first surgery and attentive throughout explaining procedures and findings, and patient listening. Great staff throughout this entire experience.

The doctor was kind and courteous. He asked if I had questions and took the time to answer them. I wish I would have asked if there were certain charges in vision or Increase in pain that I should report to my doctor, if I experience them. What experiences are normal with this condition and not to be concerned about and what types of changes that could be a cause for concern.

I have complained about having very dry eyes for years. As far as I know this was the first time I have been tested. I was given a prescription. It was very expensive but worked very well. Within hours my discomfort began to subside. My vision improved and even congestion cleared. I feel if this continues I may not have to have cataract surgery for a while. I am very pleased thus far and cautiously optimistic results will continue.

Dr de Stefano provided an excellent diagnosis and explained the recommended surgery thoroughly. He showed great concern for how I would deal the proposed recovery (ie 24 hours flat on my back). Things went quickly but I do not recall him discussing artificial tears with me. I am very grateful to him and consider him to be one of the "Best of the Best" Surgeons I have talked to.

Dr. DeStefano took a significant amount of time with examining me & diagnosing my problem. He was friendly, extremely thorough, explained in detail the surgery that I was facing, answered all of my questions, and was extremely efficient & confident in the process. Based on my positive first experience I would highly recommend him for anyone seeking his specialty and expertise.

Very good eye contact, this is important to me. Not quick to rush out, made sure my concerns and questions were addressed. I appreciate that dr is attentive to me and I don't mind waiting because I know he is giving another patient the same care. At my age it's important that I understand terminology, not guessing what has been told to me.
