Dr. Vinit Varu, MD

Have seen Dr. Varu annually, 4 consecutive years. Was referred to him after a blockage was found in my carotid artery. His demeanor is always kind and calm. His knowledge is excellent. Annually, we check the blockage to make sure it hasn't increased. He has the equipment in his office. to run the ultra sound testing.

My husband has a very complicated medical condition and Dr. Varu worked with him and improved his vascular issues which meant my husband didn't lose his feet to surgery due to wounds that weren't healing because of lack of circulation! He was kind, understanding, very professional, and very experienced!

He may be a fine doctor but I would not recommend him because he did not want to discuss a coding error which will cost me a lot of money. He did not want to talk and his staff was difficult. I had to file a redetermination request form with Medicare which should have been done by the Dr's office. By the way Dr. Varu was recommended by my heart Doctor because of family problems of which my mom, dad and dad'd father died of an aneruysm and also my father's brother. Will not recommend Dr. Varu.

Dr. Varu was very patient when my father-in-law decided to be difficult. He kept a very professional and caring demeanor as did his staff. Two complaints: we waited over 30 minutes past our appointment time to be seen and the music in the waiting room was inappropriate (extreme profanity). I just unplugged the machine so we wouldn't have to listen to it any more. Once we were brought into the exam room the experience was great.

From the moment one enters this office and then meeting with a well informed and pleasant group of professionals, one acknowledges this is a Doctor truly caring about each detail of his patients health care experience.
