I was late for my appointment but no chastisement or complaint from staff who were all very courteous and professional

Dr J answered my message on a Sunday and had an appointment for me the next day! Her knowledge is second to none. I am blessed to have such a great Dr.

I haven’t been to see Dr. Jacob in over 8 years, but given my current circumstance, I feel compelled to write. Dr. Jacob changed my life. I’d been to see multiple doctors before finding her and was made to feel like everything was in my head, or not severe enough to take seriously. It was completely different as her patient. Whenever I was having a flare, she would squeeze me in for testing the same day. She took everything I said seriously (which you’d think would be a given). Dr. Jacob worked tirelessly to help figure out what was going on and helped me manage untimely to the point of a several year remission. After several months, she cried happy tears with me when we finally got a diagnosis. I would still be her patient if I hadn’t moved. It’s because of her care I understand what is going on and have the ability to seek the care I need and deserve. I’m so grateful for Dr. Jacob’s role in my life.

Dr. Jacob is by far one of the best doctors I’ve ever had. She took the time to educate me about my condition, explained to me how and why it happened and put me at ease on the medications and life style changes I had to take. She and her staff were nothing short of amazing. I’m so blessed to call her my doctor. A complete sweetheart:)

You will not find a more caring doctor. Dr. Jacob was able to do my colonoscopy and remove a precancerous growth. When she did the follow-up colonoscopy she was not able to complete it due to my torqued colon. She did not give up on me. She recommended me to a colleague who has great success with difficult cases. It was successful. If Dr. Jacob can not help you she will make sure you get the help you need. I continue to work with Dr. Jacob on my gastroenterology issues.

I’ve had Ulcerative Colitis since I was 15 and I didn’t leave my Pediatric GI until my early 20’s. I was nervous about going to an adult GI because I felt like the care wouldn’t be the same. I was absolutely wrong and I’m glad I was, I felt like I was being passed from one family member to the next. She has such a warm and caring approach, I feel absolutely comfortable speaking with her about my health and even the smallest things that are bothering me. She takes action on anything that is mentioned to her or anything she sees after performing a Colonoscopy. I couldn’t recommend her enough to anyone who may be looking for an adult GI! I will see her as long as she continues to practice, I’m grateful to have found her!

DrJacob is very thorough with her exams and following up with family history of GI diseases.

I personally know Dr. Jacob for many years.At all times she showed, and had proven to me again, and again, that she has the world's time when it comes to take care from her patients, she treats everyone like a gemstone, with extreme professionalism, and expertise. And takes things very serious when a patient will complain, and wouldn't allow them to stay stuck when things are not so clear, she will make sure to get to the bottom of things and, make an efficient medical plan that will put the patient in the most comfortable situation possible! I highly recommend Dr. Jacob for anyone that was newly diagnosed, or are looking for another opinion, with any type of IBD, which includes Crons disease, Colitis, Proctitis, or any other concerning stomach issues that might have a chance to fall under this category!
