Dr. Vinny Varghese, MD

I'm an 80-year-old retired engineer and have been seeing Dr Varghese for ~14 yrs. after moving back to Florida. I have not had anything but a positive experience with him as my primary care doctor. My interaction with his office staff has been pretty much great. Some of the negative reviews I've read, makes me think about what my mother always said, if you give off positive vibes, chances are you will receive positive vibes in return. That has been awesome life lesson!

Dr. Varghese is very thorough and does not 2nd guess your health. He refers to specialist when needed and has tests run as necessary. He follows up on the results and coordinates care with the other offices. Discusses your own self care. The office personnel are fabulous and hardly a wait for your appointment time. We have had Dr Varghese as our family physician since we moved to Florida in 2018.

He is concerned about his patients and is generally thoughrough with follow up appointments, referrals, and your overall health concerns and needs. He takes the time to listen and make sure you are taking care of all your Healthcare needs. That you are seeing the specialists that are needed and your own self care as well. His care does not stop at his office but follows you through all your other physicians care as well, making sure he has the most up to date knowledge of where you are at in with you own care as well

Great doctor

I have been a patient of DR Varghese for the past 5 years. He is a very good doctor. I truly believes he genuinely cares for his patients. I am happy to have him as my doctor. Highly recommend

Best doctor I have ever visited. In 57 years I have seen a lot. He really listens and asks more questions than any other doctor I have seen. Staff is great! They never make me wait for my appointment- maybe just a few minutes. Love that! Telehealth is available!

Dr did not examine me very well. Seemed like he wasn't very thorough anytime i went in. Said almosr nothing to me. You hadto go in for any prescription you neede. Just wanted his money . Different nurse everytime i went in. Dont see him, waste of time.

We like the doctor but the staff that sends the prescription to the pharmacy constantly messes it up or doesn’t do it at all. We have to call them numerous times to get it done or we have to go to the wrong place to pick up the medicine due to them sending it to the wrong pharmacy. I don’t think they are organized or they understand that people need their prescription to be sent before they close for the day. This should be a must in my book. Send the prescription before you leave for the day.

This Dr., on several occasions now, has refused to refill a prescription for an anti-depressant (that he's been prescribing for 3 years) because I was unable to make it to his office for a follow up office visit after falling and breaking my nose. ONE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OTHER. I agreed to come in, but That's hard to do when he's on vacation for a MONTH. This guy obviously has NO interest in his patient's well-being, and cares ONLY about getting paid, even if the appt isn't needed.

I have been with Dr Varghese nearly 6 months. I like him and trust him, a lot. He seems genuinely concerned and takes his time with you. Answers questions thoroughly. Not afraid to refer you to specialists as needed. Unlike some docs in the area that think they can treat all. However, this is where it's not so good. Whomever makes referral and appointments with specialists, should be fired! NEVER. in a timely manner, and have to call and call, talk to the office mgr to get anything accomplished
