Terrible physician ifI could give no stars I would
We went to this provider at his Pomona location, Dr.Garg charged us 182.00 the first visit she came in the room and said ' stitches look like they are healing well come back and see me Monday' and left. He charged me another 182.00 Monday was rough taking out the stitches made my daughter's face bleed and then left stitches in her face that I had to remove because we could not get through to his office. We were told to go to him since my daughter had stitches put in at Pomona Valley Hospital. This doctor should not be in practice he is terrible.

HORRIBLE AND UNCARING
If you like rudness and taking pills this is your guy. Feel blessed if he gives you more than five minutes. He will not answer any questions, he abruptly says 'take your pills' then leaves.

I was referred to Dr. Garg for varicose vein treatment- or EVLT/RFA As a referral by my insurance I was required to go. This doctor does not have the equipment to do this procedure. I was told they had no idea when the machine would be fixed. I was told there would be a two-hour wait to see him. There were people waiting out in the hall as the waiting room was standing room only! Since there was no medical reason to see him (I left) The office staff also lied to my insurance company, saying he could do said procedure when in fact he cannot! PLEASE UPDATE your INTERNET information! My time is also important. As I prefer not hunting for an office full of incompetents!

I met him over at SARH while my stay there, he came to see me and this Dr. was rude, just like many other like him, once they come to this country and make it, they it gets to their head and treat people just like they do in his Country, I'm glad he did not performed surgery on me, he might be the best on his trade, but the worse on his manners...I was ask to follow up with him but NO THANK'S NOT WORTH MY TIME, RATHER SEEK SOME ONE ELSE

My 93 year old mom had two places of her colon blocked. One part from a hernia mesh that migrated to her colon and obstructed it and another area where she had diverticulitis. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance due to diverticular bleeding. Dr. Garg told me she needed immediate surgery in order to save her colon. I was obviously concerned as a previous surgeon refused to do surgery months back due to her age. Well, he performed the surgery, saved her colon (NO colostomy bag) and she’s all good now! Thanks, Dr. Garg!

New patient- tried calling the office 4 or 5 times to set up an appt. but got answering machine asking me to leave name & number & someone would call me back. Never rec'd call back so I went to the office, told receptionist what happened. She never offered an apology, just said "O.K." Got my appt.. When I arrived for my appt. the receptionist never greeted me at the window, just slapped the sign in clip-board on the counter without even looking up. RUDE! She then informed me that I was a new patient. REALLY?? She handed me a release form to sign. The form was so over-copied & blurry I couldn't even read it, so I told her I wouldn't sign what I couldn't read. She said they were all like that. I told her she could probably find a new form on-line & print one; she said she was new and didn't know how to do that. She said the Doc wouldn't see me if I didn't sign. I apologized for taking up so much of her time and I walked out. Will never go back.

Dr Vinod Garg is someone who has apparently been practicing medicine too long. His manners and patience to answer his patients questions are HORRIBLE. Pre surgery he acted like it was intolerable to ask any questions of him, like the patients concerns are not worthwhile. After waiting to see him for 30 minutes for a follow-up appointment, he literally spent 30 seconds in the exam room. Apparently too busy to be bothered by gasp! a patient! What a jerk.

I was taken to the San Antonio emergency room, a couples years ago abdominal pain. This doctor (which I do not choose) performed a exploratory abdominal surgery. A few months later, I noticed a diastasis groin up in my middle body section (a gap between the two sides of the rectus muscle abdominis. Doctor Garg lies to me and my wife telling as that the problem will go away after a few months. Actually, I cant' not perform any sit ups or anything involving my abs because the gap grows more and more. I'm a four degree Taekwondo black belt practiconer and I look so fit but my stomach looks like I was drinking 2 beer six packs a day since I was a toddler. THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR MY DIASTASIS IS TO GO FOR A PLASTIC SURGERY WHICH IS A LOT OF MONEY, and everything happens because dr garg don' put to much attention at the end of my surgery or maybee he let finish the surgery by one of his protegé (on one of my post operatory visits, he have a student or a fresh doctor, learning.)

Long waits. Overcrowded, seedy patient waiting room, and the unbelievable $1 charge to use a credit card to pay your office visit co-pay. As if doctor visits aren't already overpriced. This office sets a new standard for treating patients like cattle. Dr. Garg should be aware that this is an immediate turn-off for anyone who has a choice in selecting a physician.

My husband had to have emergency surgery due to a ulcer that perforated the lining of his stomach. Dr. Garg had to open him up as he wasn't a candidate for laparoscopic surgery. The Dr. was able to repair his stomach area and my husband is now healing at home. . He was in the hospital for 8 days. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Garg as his years of experience are well worth it! Thank you Dr. Garg for helping my husband!!
