Dr. Violeta Mihailescu, MD

Staff and Dr have no sound medical judgement or acumen. Bad bedside manner. Will retaliate against you if you refuse her garbage medication from the dark ages. If you’re having a bad reaction to the garbage prescribed, don’t bother her with your problems or will rip you a new one. Tons more but you get the idea. Do not get your blood work there. Phlebotomist blew out my vein and caused a hematoma the size of Texas. Still unsure? Schedule a free “meet and great” with her and the other docs. Choose wisely jic you’re stuck with these clowns. Get a tour of the clinic…. They use broken medical equipment and blame you for the F’ed up numbers. Prepare a ton of questions and take good notes. You’ll need to reference when she denies what she said or was discussed! Atrium is the Gold Standard for out patient care in the Charlotte area. Stay away from Lake Norman!!! They are the worst hospital in the country.

I took my elder mother to see her because her doctor was out of the office. She has never had such an impersonal doctor before. She was also very judgmental and snarky with her replies to my elder mother. She told her that she is supposed to see her regular doctor twice a year and my mom replied that she was never told that. This doctor looked her up and down and said, 'well, I just told you' She told my mother she took too many pills. (She takes 5 a day for HBP, Cholesterol, Gerd) My mother thought she should stop taking her prescriptions based on this doctors opinion. Her opinions could be dangerous. Worse yet, I don't think she cares. Doctor's usually have some compassion but she lacks any. I will NEVER take my mother back to her. I'd drive to SC before seeing her again. Tryon Medical, we love you, but PLEASE watch this doctor!!

First visit with Dr. Mihailescu. I was very impressed with her. She listened and heard what I had to say. Looking forward to working with her.

Dr Mihailescu is the BEST MD I have ever had. I was in the Army for over 20+ and Construction for over 30+. I have had MDs all over the US and Oversea. So with experience I can tell you that she is the BEST.

Dr. Violeta Mihailescu is as thorough and caring as they get. She focused not only on my parents' physical health but always inquired (and noticed) their mental well being. Well visits were head to toe, and she knew when to get a specialist involved. She speaks with great care and respect to her geriatric patients. Never rushed. I liked her so much for my elderly parents, that she became my internist too.
