Doesn’t listen
She was my PCP for a couple of years. I was diagnosed with MEcfs years ago but she kept insisting I was depressed. And that I needed to exercise more which completely goes against the science. Even when I showed her results from a study at the Brigham proving my CFS was actually a diagnosable disease (Dysautonomia) she kept insisting I was depressed and needed to exercise. I had been a Lahey patient for 35 years but left because of that. I’m now happily with a PCP who respects me AND science at the Brigham.

Dr. Ristic is a five star doctor
Dr. Ristic, Listens to you and then ask you questions so that she can diagnose your issues. She has been my doctor for several years with out any problems in any area. She has always directed me to the proper specialist. A very kind and concerned doctor.

Horrible, disrespectful, demeaning
I had contacted Dr. Ristic w/some concerns re: Mom's health. When we went for the appt, I was horrified at the way she spoke w/my Mom, as if she were a 7 yr old. I was concerned re: Mom's depression & mental health. I NEVER expected her to be berated and talked down to. Had I not witnessed it I would never have believed it. Unprofessional & uncaring treatment of Lahey pt of 50 years.

Dr. Ristic is thorough, timely, and empathetic. She takes the time to explain things well. She saved my life in identifying an abnormality with follow-up tests and an eventual referral to a specialist. I highly recommend her to anyone!

I would NOT recommend Dr. Violeta Ristic. She is terrible.. I found her to be dismissive, extremely rude and incompetent. I saw her only once and that was enough. My blood work results showed low iron and she didn't even bother to follow-up. A competent doctor would have follow-up and requested more testing. Low iron - anemia can be a sign of internal bleeding and other serious illnesses that must be investigated. I would not recommend her. She deserves no stars -

Dr.Ristic is my PCP since last year. She is very kind and listens to your health problems patiently. She prescribes the right medicine and suggests required tests only.

She read my chart carefully and seriously took all the health challenges I had over the last two years to heart in her recommendations. She explained why she was recommending what she was in enough detail that I fully understood. She was generous with her time.
