Dr. Vitaly Fishbein, MD

Dr Vitaly is quite well versed in treating SIBO/SIFO where most physicians have little knowledge of these conditions. He and his staff are very responsive to my messages and questions with excellent follow up .I would highly recommend him for any GI concerns.

Dr Fishbein is a very good Dr. That is not his picture though. I was in the best of health seeing him. Few doctors like him today.

Dr. Fishbein is caring, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. His staff are also amazing and do their best to answer all questions and concerns. Tests are always conveniently scheduled. Dr. Fishbein and his staff also have all of the reports readily available and accessible so that the patient knows what’s happening and can focus on their treatment. Prescriptions are reviewed and updates are made when necessary. When the patient isn’t well, a simple text message alerts Dr. Fishbein, who then reaches out immediately. He is a dedicated doctor and very respectable person. I highly recommend him for any and all gastro needs.

I received a courtesy call last week from said office to fax my medical records over or my appointment would have to be rescheduled. I did this with a confirmation of receipt of fax. took half a day off from work and drove and hour to see this doctor based on his reputation to be told my appointment was cancelled due to “office policy” of not faxing my medical records in time. Apparently this “office policy” also includes not calling the patient to let them know they automatically cancelled their appointment. Next appointment is over a month away. I’d think I was in Canada except I pay for my insurance. Pretty skeptical of these “office policies”. I’ve unfortunately been to many doctors and have never been treated this way

I saw Dr. Fishbein for pain, constipation and weight loss in 2018. He diagnosed me with CD after a colonoscopy revealed inflammation and ulcers, then put me on Humira and explained the risks. (This medication elevates your risk for blood cancers and serious infection). Humira did not help with pain nor did it improve motility, though it cost my family thousands of dollars. After 6 months of waiting for pain relief, I decided to try an Autoimmune Paleo diet. After a few weeks, all of my pain subsided. I stopped Humira in 2019 and saw a naturopathic doctor. She diagnosed me with SIBO. My motility issues changed dramatically. Today I am 100% healthy and I often wonder if I ever truly had Crohn's disease. (I traveled to South America in 2015, had traveler's diarrhea, took antibiotics, which is when things started to change my gut). In any case, I highly recommend you see a Functional Medicine Doctor or a Naturopathic Doctor before committing to any medication Dr. Fishbein recommends.

Brilliant doctor but does not respond to specific questions via the portal nor leaving voice mail messages. Does not explain procedures in detail which is what I want and need.

I’ve been see Dr. Fishbein for more than 15 years but write this review first time. If I need colonoscopy/endoscopy Dr. Fishbein and office staff explain all prior to performing in detail every time. This year I went out of remission and my flare up was severe and Dr. Fishbein came up with a specific treatment for my specific issue. I highly recommend this practice for its professionalism and excellent bedside manner.

Very patient with explaining things and listening. The office staff and Dr. Fishbein work together exceptionally well, making the whole experience feel very coordinated and efficient. They are pragmatic in their approach and take into consideration the patient's individual circumstances/condition. Highly recommended!

I used to be a client and i thought things were going ok with this doc no problems after procedures. We would be talking and then he would suddenly walk out in middle of conversation. I waited and waited but he never returned. Staff said he was with another client so i had to wait for him to get scripts or referrals for whatever he said i needed. Others told me he was the same way with them regardless of insurance plan. All switched to another dr. Dr has no manners. Wait time is very long.

I had a colonoscopy procedure twice and doctor found and removed multiple polyps,.all were brilliantly and staff was very professional ,polite and kind.

I have had Chrohn's disease for 18 years and has a good special is for the first 10 . However, the treatments were getting taxing on my body and the previous Doctor was good but unwilling to listen to me. For the past 8 years I was able to manage holistically, however this year I went out of remission and my flare up was severe. I went to Dr. Fishbein out of desperation and found that he had treated me like a human and came up with a specific treatment for my specific issue.
