Rude & Judgmental
I saw Dr. Selvaraj during a months-long psychotic episode. I was in & out of inpatient care and she was the main practitioner I saw for outpatient care. She was very rude and blamed my parents for my mental health issues and for me walking & wandering during my psychosis. One day I visited her and she said I wore the same outfit the last appointment. I told her I was rapidly gaining weight from the anti psychotic medication & didn’t have much to wear; She said it’s her job to look at what I wear. She commented on my weight gain in a judgmental way and had horrible bedside manner. The worst part for me was how she made my parents feel responsible for my psych issues when it was a medication induced psychosis - a medication she prescribed & kept increasing. Overall I would never recommend her for anyone.

I was treated at her clinic for over six months. All of my appointments were billed as being treated by Dr. Selvaraj. I never saw this provider. Most services were provided by various individuals, and I do not know that some of the staff had adequate medical background to be conducting the services unsupervised. I arrived at one appointment only to be told they had switched my appointment to a different location. I was not advised of this change in advance, nor did I know where the other location was. The billing was disorganized. I received some first invoices over one year after the date of service. I was treated rudely by staff when I questioned why it took 13 months to invoice me. The information provided by staff contradicted the information provided by my insurance carrier. My personal opinion: this clinic feels like a mill, designed to see as many patients as possible, with nobody caring about the patient and their progress.

Terrible doctor - doesn’t listen, over prescribes medications, and doesn’t have good bedside manner. She is in it for fast money and doesn’t take time to know the patient. Very forceful, it’s her way or the highway.

I went to her and she PILED on the meds. She doesn't listen. I once waited 2 hours in the waiting room to see her. I saw a different Dr later and she said she was surprised I was still alive with all the meds that Dr Selvaraj had put me on.

Don't see her – Aug 08, 2020

I haven't had many problems outside of billing with her. It seems like most my old medical records were falsified that I started with her though. They lied about my central nervous system that I have witnesses for. Even she's said she didn't think I was actually a paranoid schizophrenic. In 2016 I had severe kidney pain and got transported to many different hospitals where I was drugged so much I had GERD, GI issues, heart palpitations, muscle spasms and even convulsions. The drugs she put me on only make me sleep 12 hours a night, but I don't feel like I'm going to die. I tried to just stop taking the medication but I got extremely pissed off and couldn't handle the withdrawal. I'm hoping she can help me tapper off my meds and maybe find new one's if I get agitated about my experience in 2016 where I nearly died.

Lost her temper. Yelled at a client. Then walked out. Very unprofessionable behavior.
