Dismissive, Rude, Saw Patient for 3 minutes
This doctor didn't review the diagnosis with us, explain how you repair a rotator cuff, did not review the MRI or Xrays with us. The doctor saw us for less than two minutes. The doctor said he would not operate, when asked why he gave no explanation other than Xray showed arthritis, my father has never suffered from arthritis or been diagnosed with it. When asked how my father was supposed to function for the next 20+ years with a non-functional arm, his NP shrugged. This guy and the NP staff are terrible, he should be a provider as he clearly does not care about the well-being or pain of his patients. I'm shocked he even has 3.7 stars.

Refused to wear a mask, sat one foot away from me and said he was "social distancing." Waiting room was completely full, ZERO effort to social distance. Did not check temps of waiting patients. This office simply has no precautions whatsoever against transmitting COVID.

Very rude. Went there for bursitis of knee. Treated me with disrespect. Told me in the short time I was there I had ‘mashed’ on me knee and I was causing the bursitis from that. I had touched the kneecap with my hand! I am in medical field and would never be so rude to a patient. No confidence in this md

This Dr. found the problem and repaired my shoulder when 3-4 others had no clue as to what could be wrong. He didn't hesitate to do an exploratory surgery and what he found was hair raising. The damage had gone on for so long, as other Drs kept telling me they didn't see a problem, that even he was stunned to see the extreme conditions that he alone even bothered to look for.

My experience while at Alexander Orthopedic Associates overall was an pleasant experience. The ladies at the front desk greeted all patients at check in and the back office staff were efficient with bringing me back to exam room and getting xrays completed. Dr. Alexander was able to answer all my questions pertaining to my knee pain and gave me hope that he could make it better and more manageable to live with.

Dr. Alexander is an awesome physician. He is kind, caring and compassionate. His surgical skills are impeccable. I would know, since I have had several surgeries performed through out the years. His office staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Alexander and his practice to everyone.

Got a call 30 minutes before hubby's app't. saying they had not received the referral and had to cancel. I explained he was already on the way, please give me a chance to call the PCP and have it resent. They turned him away as soon as he arrived without even bothering to make a call or check a fax which is just not respectful of his time. After confirming with the PCP the referral had been refaxed 3 times, I called again to confirm receipt and the staffer was rude and dismissive . . .

It's been 1 1/2 years since my last of 2 operations on the same hip. it is my understanding that the first hip replacement was replaced because of the wrong size hip prosthetic was used. After much pain over 3 months, a revised hip replacement was done. I am still not pain free...Dr. Alexander dismissed me after 5 months, even tho I complained of pain. So I would never be pro HR. My experience with Dr. Alexander was not a good experience. He was nice & courteous until he wasn't.

Waited 1.5 hrs past my appointment time. I told them that I was not having symptoms at the present time and that maybe I should reschedule another time when symptoms were present. They staff assured me that it didn't matter. After waiting for 1.5 hrs the doctor cam in and within 3 minutes told me " I can't do anything if there are no symptoms present." They took my $60 copay and all I got was 1.5 hrs of my time wasted.

Dr Alexander takes time with his patients & exercises concern with problem conditions. He did arthroscopic surgery on my right knee. He did a good job explaining the procedure. The surgery went very smoothly and recovery was fast. I had my lefty need done previously by another doctor, & this recovery was much smoother. I will be having a second surgery with Dr. Alexander arthroscopically on my right hip next month. He did very thorough in explaining my injury, the procedure & recovery.

I had my right knee replaced in November 2013. In less than 2 years my right hip went bad-I am unsure of why, however the excruciating pain I had from the knee surgery is making me find a different surgeon for my hip. Nice Doctor in general but I don't want to be an "ongoing" patient-I want the all of the issues done the first time.

I left a review without saying what Dr. Alexander repaired. My left shoulder had ongoing pain for a while before my wife finally talked me into getting it checked out. Dr. Alexander repaired several torn muscles and did some other cleaning. As I stated in my previous survey Dr. Alexander and his staff are the best and I recommend him highly.
