Worst doctor ever
Today was my first appointment as soon as he came in he sat down and asked why I’m there. I said because my primary referred me. He said well if you had pain for so long why didnt your primary do something about it why send you here? I said I don’t know because you’re experienced in this? He said eat right and excerise and come back if it gets worse. I said worse? I said on my X-rays it says severe what do you mean worse? He says I can’t help you here but I can send you to physical therapy or to another doctor in Burlington. I said but I waited months to come here why can’t you help me? I said can’t we do injections? He said no it’s not bad enough. I said doc if it want bad my primary would not have done the referral and the mri and X-rays would not say severe. He said i can send you somewhere else. Worst doctor ever! I can’t believe he has good reviews here so he must not always be like this? What in the world was wrong with him today!? Unacceptable behavior for a dr!

I have bowel pain/bleeding for over 21 months now which got so bad i felt it radiated to my two back disk which caused stenosis to the back as well with no adequate medicine to treat it. It now shows in the CT SCAN and finally around two months ago and finally got scheduled for pain management for around 2 months out. arrival time was for 1pm and the appointment was for 1:30. So i was getting ready to go to the appointment no rush, then my colostomy bag started leaking..... I was upset I had to fix it and sadly it takes time, then i rushed out the door to go see him 36 miles away. Then I was hitting construction away as well! got there at 1:07 for the arrival time try to explain what happen, they didn't even care! schedule me for another two months out! So if you a colostomy patient and you need a good and understanding DR. Then I feel that this guy doesn't care and that you will be treated worse because you shi# differently than other patients! enough said give 0 rating if I could!!!

The best of the North Country
This is about Dr. Vladimir MedVed, who is THE best doctor in the North Country (and perhaps the world)! This man is among the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever met in my life, and I've lived all over the east coast. His is always ultra-professional, yet completely compassionate; and this combination of knowledge, professionalism, humility and compassion result in the best pain management care I've ever had. He goes out of his way to determine where you are psychologically as well. Count yourself lucky if you can be treated by him - I value it highly and we lucky to have him here. He's the best.

I'M a 63 yr old male who has had extreme pain issues for at least the last 15 yrs of my life and was convinced after my last stay at the Hospital to see Dr. Medved. I was reluctant to seek pain mgmt. care due to my upbringing which was instilled in me to tough it out and accept pain no matter how intense. That all changed when I met Dr. Medved and became his patient. His caring demeanor made me realize I didn't have to live with extreme pain for the rest of my life. After 2 yrs of being his patient my pain level is now manageable due to his care. I'M very thankful that I took the Hospital's advice and became a patient of DR. Medved's. He has improved my quality of life and made me realize that seeking some form of pain relief doesn't make you any less of a man.
