Medical Discrimination
Absolutely awful. I was referred to this office because I was having a hard time finding a PCP and the walk-in clinic by my house suggested I try Dr. Pukis's office. They said they were accepting new patients, took my info, and said they would give me a call. They didn't, so I called back, only for them to tell me that they couldn't accept me due to my medications. I told them I don't need a PCP to prescribe my ADHD medications, I need a referral for a specialist for insurance purposes. The office manager told me "Well you people say that and then the moment you get in here you want us to prescribe it." WOW. Ok cool good to know that Dr. Pukis's office will treat people with ADHD in such a discriminatory and ugly fashion. Stay far away from these people, I wouldn't trust them to give honest medical care after that interaction, especially if you have any sort of mental health or neurodivergent condition.

Following up on my previous review. Finally received a call back before 5pm. As always, Dr Pukis’ nurse is very nice and informative. Unfortunately couldn’t say the same for whomever was answering the phone. Having a good phone experience is as important and the Doctor and nurses as this person sets the tone and energy for the follow up communication. Just so irritating when people are rude.

Dr Pukis almost killed me with the wrong dose of medication. No other doctor could believe he prescribed what he did. When I talked to him about it, he acted angry, and then prescribed a different dose which was an extreme jump in the other direction. I don’t believe he knows what he is doing, and I believe he is seriously going to hurt someone. He refers to the medicine in “his country” and actually says that he thinks Americans use too many medications. This particular medication keeps me alive. Don’t be fooled by his seemingly nice personality. If you ever need him for more than just a cold, he falls apart.

Worst ever! Dr. spends only 1-2 minutes (if he even shows up) with you and leaves his staff to pick up the slack. He spends absolutely no time with his patients and has no clue about your medical history or anything about you! Horrible!

Prefers seeing more patients as oppose to quality patient time. Especially when the patient is really ill.. would not jepordize my family/ friends to this type of expeditious healthcare.

We love seeing Dr. Pukus he is really great and very friendly. The staff for the most part are great to, we've had a few bad visits due to the attitude of one ( Sophia ) but other than that we love it here!

I have always liked Dr.Pukis but it seems probably over the last year or two that I have been using him he doesn't take the time to listen to me like he once did.I've known him for several years now. I just seen him this past Thursday and felt like I was rushed in and out. Even told the nurse or tech what I was there for. My bursitis on this visit wasn't even addressed. Overall his office staff is okay. But his nurse practitioners don't need to be even in his office. Completely heartless idiots.

Dr Pukis has been a God sent to my husband and I. We had been looking for a good Dr that would accept our insurance and was not really quick to push the pills and send you on your way! When Dr Pukis was assigned to us in the ER a few years back, we switched to his office immediately! We had a few concerns about the OLD staff of PA’s and nurses but his NEW staff of professionals gives you the feeling that you and your health is their most importance concern. We no longer feel rushed or like th
