Life-Changing Surgery
I recently underwent a microdiscectomy performed by Dr. Wael Musleh to address a longstanding issue with a herniated disc at L5-S1. For over fifteen years, I battled with this progressive injury, starting as a bulge and worsening to a 9mm herniation, causing severe compression of the nerves in my spinal cord. Despite being in excellent health and physical condition, the pain had become debilitating, hindering basic tasks like tying my shoes, playing with my children, and working a full day in the office. The only relief I found was lying down on my left side. After consulting with a friend (also a doctor in the Rebound group) who recommended several surgeons, Dr. Musleh stood out to me as the best fit. During our initial consultation, Dr. Musleh exhibited compassion and patience, addressing all my concerns and laying out my options without pressure. Despite my extensive research on microdiscectomy success rates, I was still very anxious on the day of surgery. However, the exceptional

Dr. Musleh does an excellent job explaining what is happening to your spine. He performed surgery on me in Feb. and his team did an amazing job. His office and staff are well organized but the telephone system to get a message to them needs work! Their main phone number doesn't get you to a person to talk to. You have to leave a message which is hard when you have a question that needs an answer.

I saw Dr. Musleh once and with the help of the MRI that I had he diagnosed my problem in one visit and explained the need for surgery. I next saw him in the OR for surgery. I find him to be a brilliant surgeon and a kind man. I would recommend him to anyone needing back surgery. I am 100% pain free from the moment I woke up.

The results of my surgery were simply amazing. Dr. Musleh corrected my low back problem with immediate results. I never needed any pain medication. From the time I left recovery till now, 6 weeks later, I have had no pain. The care I received at Rebound couldn't have been better. The staff was very attentive and caring. And of course, Dr. Musleh deserves the highest rating possible. Thank you, thank you.

Dr Musleh provided me with a clear picture of the causes of my problem and the options available to me in a warm, professional and understandable manner. He explained the benefits and risks of the proposed solution and I left feeling I could make an informed decision about my healthcre. I would advise anyone who asked me for a recommendation that they should feel confident in choosing him to provide them with their healthcare.

I have had several spinal surgeries, including fusions. When I was unable to walk upright without a cane due to problems that others could not diagnose, I was referred to Dr. Musleh. Because of previous fusions, the hardware in my spine made diagnoses very difficult, but Dr. Musleh was able to see what the problem was and recommended immediate surgery. I had a second opinion and he was open to what the second neurosurgeon had to say. The surgery was complicated, but successful. I am now able to walk upright and without a cane. Throughout the process, Dr. Musleh remained empathetic, honest about what I should expect and very clear in his explanation of my treatment plan. At no point did he rush through his examinations or dismiss my concerns. I have been to many surgeons and I have a pain management provider as well. None have been as willing and open to listen to my questions, concerns and/or fears as this doctor has been. His PA (Breanne) was awesome as well, caring and thorough.

Dr. M has already saved my life once. Not only has he actually been responsible for my survival, he has done successful surgery on me in another instance. I am very impressed with his grasp of his field, his genuine concern for his patients and his professionalism. Prior to seeing him recently, I had been referred to a different neurosurgeon. The contrast was stark. Where Dr. M listened carefully to my symptoms and believed me, the other guy was dismissive & told me I was mistaken. He made light of my concerns about the potential surgery and told me it would be 'a snap.' Needless to say, I went right back to my primary caregiver and asked for a referral to Dr. M.

Dr. Musleh is an excellent neurosurgeon, one of the best. I had a spinal fusion (8 hours of surgery) and after 3 months the results are wonderful. I was able to walk the first day out of surgery. After being in pain since 1999 I feel better now than I have in the past 20 years.

I can't Say enough good things about Dr. Musleh. His explanation and recommendations for proceeding were, in all cases clear and accurate. His patient demeanor made me feel that I would recieve the best care available during the operation and through recovery.after the operation he did not turn me over to his Physician assistant and visited me several times while in the hospital and follow up Appointments. I would highly recommend Dr Musleh to anyone seeking major back surgery/fusion.
